Honestly... I can't understand why this is even a problem. In real life something like this wouldn't happen or do people here take their girlfriend and buddy to a brothel? And then you also want to sleep with twins and your girlfriend at the same time? Initiate the whole thing in front of your friend and then get upset because he asks? And how dare the girlfriend disagree with all this nonsense? What a topic...
Thats why it should be tweaked one way or another anyway. If situation is already stupid, that doesn't mean you should ignore the whole sequence and put some w/e shit in there(just because situation is already stupid).
I don't know why this is even still being discussed. It's obvious that the writer has no intention of ever changing their interactions at this point so either decide to ignore it for the out of character garbage it is or just do another romance. Personally I chose the former and was rewarded in the epilogue.
So we pretty much pretend that encounter is just 3rd rate smut some 2nd rate bard writes after Baldur's Gate is saved? I guess that can work.
That what we do for now. At least epilogue helps forget this "shitshow".
