Yeah I've seen this too. Not just at Wyrm Crossing. I saw it with the Gur leader in the village before Wyrm Crossing where the weapon on the leader's back flickered in and out.
Also saw the pinching and pulling/tearing in act 2 as well. I forget whom it was being done to but it happened there as well.
This is happening for me on the Xbox version of the game.
Edit:
I just ran into the visual bug again in the Guildhall inside of Baldur's Gate. Part of the High Harper quest line. So this is a pervasive bug.
