We should organize a group for all the Error 544 victims :D, and starto send tickets in everyday to Larian to force an official statement out of them.

Ps: Sony will not refund the game.

Day 28 since unabel to play because I cant save("Error 544")

They just released the hotfix17. Updated mine and was able to save several times. Looks like they finally fixed it!

Doesnt work for me my old saves are all still hidden and new ones it says no space left. After patch my saves goes up from 1,7GB to 1,9 GB

I guess you won't be able to recover them.. especially if at some point they were overwritten by a new a corrupt save. Before the fix, I was constantly erasing the whole data from the storage (always 1.7 or 1.9gb) and downloading that saves that were in Larian's storage (around 150mb - only were good). Then - just in case - I was uploading them to PS cloud storage.

It didn't help, because I couldn't save, but now it's working flawlessly again. I could save several times and the size is just 200mb.

If you have any saves synchronised with Larian, maybe just forget about the others, erase everything from the PS storage and sync the game again.

Yeah but this ist a massive time waste for me 400 hours on tactican lost. I will get platin so i need a few runs again also tactican... This can cost me also 200 hours or more. Would be very nice if a paid customer get an answer if the sav3es forever lost. In other sectors if you have so much time investigated trough a bug all lost it would be a complaint and you get your money back + a bonus. I work a long time in customer service. If we act like larian we lost all customers ang get massiv complaint with a lawyer etc.

Hello! As deadly mentioned, the new Hotfix 17 should help with the Error 544. When trying to save on one of your more recent saves, does it still give you the same error 544 or a different one?

Different it say only not enough space even if i try a New game. I have over 110 GB space left on disk.
But wasnt the main problem from error 544 it can be safed because a lag of space?

For me the problem is probably with the "shadow saves" in my database on PS5.
If i dont want to lose most of my saves I do not have space to save.
If I clear the data it is working but only can keep the last five saves from Larians cross-save.

Other thing what I worry about, if I start to save again and reach high save count again, Error544 will probably occur again. (hope im wrong)

I would appriciate an answer.

For me its terrible also my crossaves are hidden. If i start without the saves fresh save file crossave do nothing after i activated. It works before but today crosssave also not give me a single save back.

Hotfix 17 should have addressed several instances of the Error 544. Thank you all for sharing the information about the errors your are still experiencing after the hotfix, I've forwarded them to the team.

Is there any workaround for those of us who show save files with no character name, 1 million plus hours, and a save date months in the future? It was a direct byproduct of error 544, and based on several comments in this forum (some which aren't showing in this thread anymore which is concerning), several players with long playtime games had their saves rendered unloadable.

I still can't load my corrupt save. It's still greyed out. My PS5 says I have the latest version.

Yeah! Hope they fix the invisible saves finally so that we can use them like before. So much guys that investigated, so much time and all lost? Hope that's not the solution. Especially the Honor Mode guys.
There must be a solution for broken saves, I mean 1.9 GB and can't load a save? There must be data inside the invisible saves. So pls larian fix also the corrupt saves, not only new saves.

I've passed the info and the screenshots of the invisible save issue to the team and they've let me know they're aware and currently looking into it.

Edit: I come from an IT background, so I know when troubleshooting having the most amount of information helps a ton. I’m not sure if the team read my other forum post about some other bugs I was experiencing prior to the error 544:

•Wyll has a dialogue exclamation that doesn't go away after speaking to him. Dismissing him doesn't work and neither does talking to anyone else.

•My wife and I play PS5 couch co-op. We've been having trouble with the camp chests where I, the second player, can't access my chest. If I disconnect then she can access all chests even using my toon.

•The game has been freezing and the screen will get stuck for 45~ seconds until the crash reporter comes up.
