Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Modding Any way to edit background proficiencies?

Hi guys, so I'm playing on patch 4 because patch 5 just would not run for me.

My background customization mod has been working fine for level 1-3, but i just got karlach and when i try to respec her at Withers it breaks. I can't select the background proficiencies and so i can't click finished.

I tried to use appearance edit enhanced as a workaround, but it the withers re-class one just does the same thing. if i do the full re-create, it works EXCEPT that it levels her up every time. :crazy:

mod load order:
0-community library
1-nointropak
2-noromancelimit
3-show approval ratings in dialog
4-stackable items
5-appearance edit enhanced v3.0 (tried current version and 2.1.2. 2.1.2 didn't even add the appearance edit button to the characters, so i couldnt figure out how to use it.)
6-appearance edit origins 2.0.1 (tried current and 2.0)
7-background skill choice
8-compatibility framework

so if you take her to Withers and make her first level Bard does she have the option in abilites tab to pick her extra skills?
after picking her first level exit the screen and then try leveling her up from there... also make sure you actually have Karlach selected as the controlled character when you do the level ups

picking bard should unlock any blockers as they are the 'jack of all trades type' skill class ... thats the only work around i can think of without testing your code
