So yeah... Darwin award goes to me for 2023. Launched a Honor mode run and wiped in act 1 not paying attention to the stone statue traps at the druid grove! Watched it all go down and didn't even hit turn-base. Anyhow, attempt number 2 was gonna go VERY slow (92 hours... maybe 10-15h afk). Had some scares but made it to the end. Didn't want to take any chances so I barrelmancy tactic ftw like I did on tactic way back when.... or so I thought. All 4 toons went flying off the top ledge and insta-died. I might have overdone it with the pyro. Maybe the runepowder barrel did me in (don't think I had it on the tact run), but yeah, I put way too much and paid the price. Launched a new honor run 10 mins ago.

YEah, man, it happens. I got killed fighting *the netherbrain* by forgetting there is a time limit to it. So I was jsut mucking about clearing out all the goons and playing with my owlbear cub until I saw the timer.

That is a kind of adorable way to go, though - death by pets. =)

I agree, playing with the owlbear cub is worth dying for.

Iattempt honour mode atm too. I fought the spider queen and it was hard, but doable on level 3 and then got a heart attack, because my game crashed in the House of Hope - first meeting with Raphael, not 3rd act and I thought, that my run was over. But luckily, crashes don't count. I was happy that I had saved though, because I had the most lucky run against the harpies just before meeting Raphael - no one got charmed and the boy lived.

I rarely if ever get a crash when playing. And, becasue I never reload - I also never save. I've had to redo the entire Gauntlet due to this. IT's a good dungeon, but it's also the point where my reroll-a-tav syndrome kicks in.

Owlbear Cubs rule.

I don't get crashes that often too, but this time, it happened during the transition to the House of Hope, don't know why. After reloading, the scene played out normally.
In honour mode, the game saves before bigger things and every time, I try to leave the game for me.

I recently finished Honour Mode, I had no crashes until late into Act 3. I was terrified my save would be corrupted. The first one happened in the House Of Grief. I had saved just before entering the room/starting the fight but I was not at all happy about having to do that long battle again. Same happened towards the end too. Game crashed on me while killing the final enemy in the big courtyard battle. I had to do that all over again too! Thankfully my save was fine. I have heard people say their saves were corrupted from crashes but thankfully I was able to reload.

The fight that nearly ended me on my HM run was Cazador. I wasn't expecting anything special from him as he's never posed a problem to me before and, yeah, well, that was a humbling experience.
