My intent here isn't to rant or just bitch to bitch. I'm genuinely looking for input from others, like if the PS and PC players have seen improvements and if I as an Xbox player just need to wait for the fixes to reach us? I'm having difficulties with immersion and QoL things. I'm on my first play through and doubt I'll play it again unless they fix some of these things.
- Cutscene dialogue has stretchy warped graphics like the NPC's skin is getting launched off screen.
- Items I should be able to reach to loot in the world are telling me they're out of reach when they're right there on a table in front of me.
- Looting items right next to each other causes my character to stop and walk around to the other side of the items, and then back again.
- R3 doesn't always work for showing you the interactive items in the area.
- Empty items don't always update to 'Open/Loot (Empty)' in the hover label.
- Inventory items aren't sorting correctly (i.e. 'latest' doesn't always work).
- Summon Elemental Spell Scrolls don't work in-combat (the radial bar to choose the elemental doesn't appear, it just defaults to my regular radial bar prompting me to choose the type).
- My radial bar keeps moving or duplicating abilities and spells.
- The options I've chosen (i.e colorblind setting, vibration intensity, auto-set radial bar items, etc) have reset to defaults a few times.
- Lae'zel has never been in my party or camp yet there's references to her 'input' in dialogue.
- I've been attacked by guards that turned out to be agents of the villains, and upon looting their piles of ash and non-humanoid corpses, the local NPCs catch aggro like I'm stealing.
- AI tells me that I can't reach a target to loot or attack, when I can manually position myself to loot or attack.
On top of these things are other things that irk me as a longtime D&D player.
- You can't pass thru allies in combat.
- Jumping is a bonus action instead of part of movement.
- Spiritual Weapons can be damaged, targeted, AND provoke AoO.
- Actions like opening a door or a chest, or picking a lock and disarming a trap break Invisibility.
- NPC followers that have never even been part of my party (but are in my camp) are declaring their undying love/lust for me. That one is just ick.
