Then I enjoy my filthy exploiter existence very much because Wizard/WM Sorcerer 2/10 or 10/2 is a lot of fun. Though the 2/10 version makes you potentially run out of spell slots very quickly. (Also it allows Gale to threaten people with explosion which is very on brand.)

Ok but when you get to middle age and suddenly need a prescription for Viagra it will be because of behavior like this. :P.

But respect for embracing it. Seriously.

I’ll be really sad if they patch out something that’s fun before they fix some of the things that are broken in the game. So, while we’re still enjoying this exploit, this seems as good of a place as any to ask: Is it true that if you put the headband of intellect on, prepare four spells, then take the headband off, and never respec, you will have those four spells prepared still? And if that is true, what are some of the best spells that don’t depend so heavily on the intelligence stat for their effectiveness? Like what about Artistry of War? Magic missile?

Oh I think you have time. It's just not a priority and I understand why.

is it game-breaking and OP? You bet your ass.

Does it give a handful of players the mistaken idea that they are actually good at the game? Probably, but who cares about that.

Larian is still putting out the Console-related fires of eating save games. They also have to actually fully flesh out Act 3 so it feels as complete as Act 1 and 2. They also need to add a modding toolset and fix a lot of other crashes and blockers.

This exploit really only gets used by a handful of ding-dongs that either don't know any better or are abusing so many other exploits that this one looks tame by comparison.

So go nuts, you probably have at least a few months.

Oh I stopped using it because I realized that you can buy an immense number of scrolls from Rolan’s projection, pickpocket the gold back and he won’t notice. So I have 20+ disintegration scrolls, for one, that scale off intelligence. No need for a wizard level smile

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with exploiting a 1 level wizard dip though.

All the utility spells that you'd pick for Eldritch Knight and Arcane Trickster. Cloud of Daggers should work, as well as Fog Cloud or Darkness - oh and you could learn summoning Shovel of course! I can't tell you about the headband trick though.
