It was complete garbage and I don't know a single competent BG1 or. BG2 player that didn't play with the AI turned entirely off and micro-managing the entire party during the challenging fights.


The ones that didn't want to pause constantly and micro-manage at most did some challenge solo runs.

EDIT Anyway, it seems like the last replies are going a bit off-topic, but then againt the OP never came back, so there's that.

@Acemath: the turn-based combat is the highlight of the game and the reason I'm sticking around, on the other hand. If it was for other aspects of the game I would have stopped caring sometime ago.
