Well i actually started to wonder as well. It was hard to believe number.
so I picked up a few steam db numbers
Hogwarts

https://steamdb.info/app/1086940/charts/ I think i readed somewhere that elden ring sold 30 mill.
And the chart vs bg3 are really similar. And Hogwarts I read some where it sold 15mill.
Considering that BG3 Is on cloud gaming and Gog + Xbox and ps. Mybe it's believable.
