I was quite amused to discover one of the kobolds in the creche hiding inside a wine barrel - the giveaway was the *belch* and *slurp* you'd get if you walked close by.

What else is out there that amuses you?

There was a bug where if you went the side entrance for the burning building in act 1. Went around an initiated the scene it would bug out. Been a while but I remember laughing about that.

I can't even tell you guys, how long I have been sitting on this absolute GEM of a screenshot:
[Linked Image from i.ibb.co]
Lemme tell you guys what happened. So there I was, walking around Cora Highberry's house, when I walked past an orphan named Timmy. Timmy yanks out this HUGE cut of meat, and just starts chomping down on it. Two thoughts went through my mind:
1. Is this a bug? A bug that makes meat 10 times as large? I like it. c:
2. Did a Dev code this? Is this an orphan's idle animation? To pull out a chicken leg half their body size, and start eating it? I later learned it was a leg of mutton, but no matter. A+

When I waited long enough, the orphan standing next to Timmy also pulled out giant meat and started eating too 8'D If this is a bug, it's spreading, and in my heart I hope it spreads to all the NPCs.

I think it’s hilarious how Shadowheart reacts when you let Abdirak beat you at the goblin camp (leave Astarion at home for her full commentary). A lot of her remarks are funny to me… from suggesting that Astarion “wear a bell to dissuade nighttime prowling” to calling Karlach a “tasty treat,” etc.

BUT one of my favorite lines in the game is Auntie Ethel: “I’m going to rip your spine out of your arsehole!”

Oh, Auntie Ethel ... keep going for my favorite line: "I'll keep you alive until I've sucked the Marrow from your bones. And THEN, I'll bring you back and do it all over again". It's the way she says, "And THEN", combined with her funny face and slightly crossed eyes that gets me every time. Hur!

There is also something just right about the scene with Vlakith's painting in the creche. The brief pause when you admire your work is sublime, and then a youth comes around the corner and tries to scrub it off, ha ha ha.

Maybe it's just me, but when you do that with Astarion, I feel he looks extra smug.

I've said this a thousand times already, but all the animals. Speaking with animals is *always* good stuff.

From revolting spiders [read this however you please] to Bisconti the good dog, to the real mistress of the house, the squirrels with Alfira - absolute perfection. Oh and the Owlbear Cub. I *love* the Owlbear Cub. I often complain about the writing in this game, but it really works for the minor interactions. Animals are top notch.

Sending your squadmates up to Dribbles the Clown. Never gets old.

Pretending to be sick at the Doctor's.

Resolving every situation with [Barbarian][Intimidate]

'WET YOUR TROUSER HOLES, BAAASKET IS HERE' - Yes, his name is Basket. If you name him anything else, you're playing this game wrong.

In early access Wyll was borderline suicidal in his introduction at the gate fight, this was also when his VA was doing a different voice for him.

He would yell "MAKE WAY FOR THE BLADE OF FRONTIERS!" then gets absolutely wrecked by the fall damage and the group of goblins. My friends and I had to take a 5 minute break during combat because we were too busy laughing at the unceremonious beat down Wyll received 2 seconds after he introduces himself.

And that is why he has featherfall when the fight starts wink

- During the Orin fight, Gale would stay on the stairs near the entrance of the temple but he would disappear completely a few rounds in. Enemies could still attack him and he could still attack and cast spells, but I could not click on him physically. Then, if my Tav was ever knocked prone or downed his body would flail on the stairs, his whole upper body in the stairs with his legs sticking up until he got up again. The collision on those stairs must've been a little... slippery. lol.
- Astarion's "Well, that's just disgusting." line when the look-a-likes emerge from the Netherbrain. Each time that scene came up I chuckled to myself.
- Any NPCs cut off grunt/yell when they get shoved into a chasm.
- Any time Astarion whines about filth/looking dirty. (Love you Astarion, just think your whining is a touch silly.) "Filth is for pigs and children to roll around in, darling."
- When traps go perceived a little too late and blow up the entire party sending them flying.
- Getting a nat 1 on a DC 2 roll.
- Characters t-posing during an intimate scene.
- Bosses like Raphael, Orin, Gortash, Cazador doing Otto's Dance. Same goes for companions as well.

Well, that's just disgusting.

The funniest thing to me has been the dialogue between Lae'zel and Gale as we travel around. I didn't notice it at first, and accidentally became aware of it, but it's hilarious.

I don't think any of these are particularly hidden so you've probably seen some of them before, but...

Killing Minthara by putting an explosive barrel beside her desk, nobody else noticing (I think they fixed this in a later patch), and getting the popup "Lae'zel is inspired!" Followed, less successfully, by Lae'zel and Shadowheart chucking barrels from the rafters onto the chief in the goblin temple.

Someone saying to me in Rivington, shortly after the boss fight at the end of act 2, "you've crossed <whatever criminal organisation>. Watch your back from now on," to which I could reply (and I paraphrase) "LOL, guess what I just killed," and watching them gulp in terror and back down.

The bard in The Guildhall telling me that this is her spot, and there's no space for another bard. I just joined in with what she was playing (I love that feature), and the people that had basically been ignoring her got up, started cheering and throwing money at me.

Seeing "Zombie Astarion" appear at Cazador's Palace. How many times can he die, and does he come back for revenge as Revenant Zombie Astarion?

Jaheira greeting me in the epilogue with "You can make yourself presentable, when you have a mind to", then the camera turns to my character in probably the most awkward, ridiculous pose of the game

If you agree to perform the sacrifice in the murder tribunal and Astarion is in the party, he says something like "This is your grand sacrifice?! This?!" when you first see the captive hollyphant. Having talked to the Valeria, I completely agreed - at least find a deva if you want a serious sacrifice.

Not so much funny as face-palm: Pulling the lava elemental out of position in Sorcerous Sundries (bard playing, minor illusion, combat, etc.) and watching (or encouraging) people to walk into the lava area.

Lots of inter-party dialog that goes on. For example, when you officially find out Astarion is a vampire, Lae'Zel threatens him with death if he so as takes a drop of her blood. His response is "Oh, I do so love spicy food."

My personal list of gags:
1. Character comments about each other, the best: Astarion, Sheduhart and Lazael - about the name and the flower; about the horse and the nasty temper; Will likes to give names: mr Fang, Man Weaving.
2. Astarion's comment about the length of time it takes to kill goblins.
3. Open a barn in an abandoned village and let Astarion do it, comment 1.Barbarian, 2.Bard, watch the companions.
4. Sheduhart in a cocoon from the Spider Matriarch.
5. Send the gnome flying.
6. At the goblins, first approach those torturing the prisoner, let them go. They will go to watch Abdirak. Then with your character to Abdirak. Remove your character's armor before spanking. Listen to the comments of the goblins.
7. To Dark Urge: Make Quill come to the camp, listen to her repertoire.
8. Find Shovel and send her into battle, listen to what she shouts.
9. Ma Klumpa and the fish army.
10. 2 Dwegars and the dwarf Distur. Laughing with them at the poor guy every time.
11. Waving Vlaakit's hand.
12. Destroy a Lanthender Shrine on my group, and through Weathers be the first to resurrect Astarion. Priceless.
13. Take the chair from Raphael as he plays chess.
14. Lick the spider meat a few times with Gale!!!
15. Stealing Balthazar's mom and then telling him about it.
16. Talk to Carmen Tut's store with the salesgirl's brother. Press several times.
17. Astarion's comment about shifters.
18. Send someone to Dribbles the clown, listen to comments after killing him: Astarion, Lazael and Mintara- the best.
19. Naked gnome refugee.
20. Trying to read the Emperor's mind.
21. Sleeping with Harlep and then mocking Raphael.
22. Wear Harlep's underwear and approach Gale in it.

So far my biggest giggling fit came at the south bridge entrance.
I fought the Fist Patrol and the Dreadnaught a few metres in front of her, and the journo asked:
"How would you describe your experience at the South Gate today?"

This was classic , I was trying to get something happening with Minsc, In camp , after one conversation, the replies that I was given were absolutely hilarious. I couldn't even bring myself to pick them as I was terrified at what Minsc would say , that said he isn't the brightest tool in the shed, The conversation centered around his pet hamster. If you get the chance try it. I won't spoil it .

Replaying part of act 2 recently, I decided to see what would happen if I ignored the warnings and took the road to Baldur's Gate.

Last night I went back to visit Jaheira's home in Baldur's Gate after seeing it on the BG3 wiki. The argument between Jaheira and Rion is hilarious, but also kind of tragic. And it gives me some great ideas about how the family might feel when someone goes off adventuring, which is part of my plan for my next tabletop character

It's just a very small detail that happened in one of my last playthroughs. It was completely random but always makes me smile.

Thanks to whoever stood somewhere in the circus square and threw this gold coin, thank you. smile The hit couldn't have been better and hits exactly the right spot.

Astarion tries to play a romantic song for my Dark Urge... unfortunately he is completely unmusical... and tends to disturb the poor animals.

But he tries from the bottom of his heart and very passionately.

Thanks Larian for this detail. smile

How romantic wink
Even though the animals ran away, I think Dark Urge was touched. It's so nice to have the hug mod!

I wanted to share this funny moment that happened unexpectedly in one of my recorded sessions.
After the fight with Auntie Ethel, Mayrina automatically talks to Gale, I guess because he was standing closest to her.
You can see in the background in the top left, my Durge and Astarion who got knocked down. It looks like he's trying to grab Dark Urge's leg and get her attention, but she's oblivious (probably having one of her brain lapse moments). hahaha

I thought of a couple more things...
Minthara's comment when Gale dies:
"The wizard has fallen. Typical."

In the voice files I found some lines that I wasn't able to trigger in the game, but it seems like they should trigger during battle if your character is hurt or close to death:

Minthara can say, "Did I give you permission to die?" / "Are you even trying to survive?" / "We should have minions for such tasks." / "You're more feeble than a goblin.."

Astarion can say, "Darling, you're too pretty to die." / "Let's play doctor!" / "You look good all helpless." / "Let's keep you cute!" / "Your savior is here!" / "Don't worry, I'm here." / "Let's not waste any blood."

And from spam-clicking Astarion's portrait: "Strahd wouldn't put up with this sh*t." xD
Banter between Wyll and Astarion:
"I haven't even had a bath since the abduction! I must reek of Illithid slime."

At the circus, the djinni turning you into
a cheese, and then rolling around as a cheese. Also the comments that NPCs make as you roll by them, lol.

Some overzealous fan yelling during Dribbles fight "Dribbles! NO."

One more video:
I don't know if you've ever tried hugging Sceleritas with the hug mod, but I was surprised by how huge he looks! That was funny to me. I thought at first maybe he's just being scaled up to fit somehow through the mod. But when looking at his 3D model next to my Durge, it does look like he's more of a bigger figure that looks small because he's hunched over all the time.
This was also the first time I noticed him catching flies/bugs and eating them x_x

Some Dark Urge spoilers included:

I had to include Sceleritas chewing out Astarion too. xD

Oh my dear, someone should tell Sceleritas that he is allowed to eat. ^^

If you ask Sceleritas what is the worst thing you have ever done as a Dark Urge,
he will answer: "When you gave a beggar a coin without kicking or spitting on him." He wanted to puke afterwards and still has nightmares about it. smile

If you order him to do the dishes,
he will break glass and put it in the beds of your companions so that they have bloody dreams.

The little guy is totally attentive in his very special way. smile

If you are at the circus as a bard and complement Dribbles' jokes and you have Lae'zel in the group,
she disapproves your jokes. I think Wyll is the only one who likes Dribbles and his jokes. smile But as a Dark Urge, Dribbles and his jokes make you want to slaughter everyone.

As a bard, you can also tell a joke to the gnolls in the cave near Waukeen's Rest, they will laugh for 2 rounds and then attack you.

Lmao! He really is a special one and he does his tasks very creatively. :p I can see him doing lots of "special" things like this to AA when he becomes our palace butler. wink hahaha

Not a funny moment, but I just remembered
how upset he becomes if Durge loses the duel to Orin. cry No one else had such a heartbreaking reaction like Sceleritas and I love him for that.
;_;

Aww... maybe there was always some good within Durge all along. :3 Sceleritas prob doesn't want to believe that, though. lol

I should try to put together those voice lines (reactions to main character hurt in battle) into a video because they're great. The text doesn't do them justice.

Edit -
Sceleritas also said to my Durge "You should have trained harder, master," before the Orin duel and that made me giggle. And it was true because she kicked my butt a few times.

This line Sceleritas says if you don't have the Slayer. If you have the Slayer he says something like "You are perfectly prepared, master".

This would be very nice. smile

I also love the reactions of your companions when you die in battle as a Dark Urge and you have a little approval from them. Astarion comments on your death with "Oh no, not my sweet bloodthirsty friend", for example if Astarion dies, your Dark Urge comments on it with "Not Astarion!". They both then have a whiny, slightly angry voice. This also seems to be Dark Urge only and seems only happens at the beginning of the game. All companions with a little approval then react.

Yes, Sceleritas then disappeared for days and you find him rolled up in a carpet in Cazador's coffin. Astarion will then tell you that Sceleritas must have had an accident while cleaning the carpets. What a tragedy, we always hear about such terrible accidents. laugh

If you save Liam in Goblincamp, but sell his sleeping bag ... 1Gold is 1Gold. The poor man, there is no rest for him. ^^

The Dark Urge and Alfira actually have a rather tragic Story together. So the following may not be particularly funny, but it touched me.(Switching my game to English...makes it easier. :))
As a redeemed Dark Urge, I didn't kill Alfira and in the epilogue I received a letter from her...

@Sini - I made a video for you with the voice lines!hug
Most of the voice lines seem to be referring to the player character being hurt or needing help in battle. The ones I put together are some I found from Astarion, Minthara, Gale, Jaheira, and Minsc.
Here is the vid:

My thoughts on the vid:
My favorites from Astarion are "I forbid you from dying!" "Let's play doctor!" "Naughty, naughty." "Let's not waste any blood." "Maybe they like being restrained?" hahaha
Also the: "You useless little...!" He could be saying that to Sceleritas. grin
I was surprised by how loving and soft Minthara can actually be! I thought it was really sweet.
Minsc had some funny lines too.^^ I will hate not having Minsc and Boo in my evil run...

ROFL. That's perfect! xD He may have to get used to a lifetime of spending days locked in the palace attic, or getting buried in the garden.^^;

I liked Astarion's comment when Dark Urge dies, but I feel like it no longer fits once you're in a committed relationship with him. smirk It should then be something like, "No! My sweet consort!" :p

Thank you, you are such a sweetheart. hug
I think I must be dying more often or needing more help, unfortunately I've never heard most of the texts.cry

"Astarion, I ripped off a fingernail."
"Hold on darling, your savior is coming."

THAT would be a real emergency and rescue mission for Astarion. grin

As Dark Urge, Minthara is your biggest cheerleader, from whom you will always receive encouragement and warm words... as long as you are evil & powerful enough. On the other hand, we have Astarion with "Precious little Bhaal-babe" and "My sweet, conflicted villain. " ...Ok, Astarion won. ; )

I'd have to die to check if he's still saying that so late. smile At this moment Astarion's eyes glow blood red and he becomes a tiny bat grin ... falls into a bloodlust.

Neither did I! ;_; I had to find them in the game's voice files (never heard them in game). Those files are all mixed in with a lot of different battle sounds, so it's hard to pick them out from everything else. I wonder if it's not possible to actually trigger them during the game. That would be such a waste! We're all missing out on those hidden treasures!

I was obsessed with the "precious little Bhaal-babe" when I first heard it! That's why I ship them so much.
Some of my other favorite quotes from him are when my Durge rejects Bhaal and you talk to him after:
Astarion: "I knew you had that sweet heart all along. I was alarmed by you sometimes, scandalized even. But somehow, by your side, I still only ever saw you."
Dark Urge: "I'm free now to do whatever I wish with my life. I want all my life to be with you."
Astarion: "I want you by my side as well. Now that you're free, we can craft a new future together. *satisfied laugh*"

Ahhh, I could die happy seeing AA go absolutely savage on anyone who dares put a scratch on his precious consort's face. grin
Maybe he's not able to control it -- he's so blind with rage that he automatically transforms into the angriest, wild, vengeful little 1HP bat xD

He thinks goblins are scum. I always poison the beer in the goblin camp with Astarion. I distract them as a bard and he has fun poisoning their beer. If you are untrained in music *cough...Astarion...cough* the goblins will throw stones at you. ; ) But it also works without a bard, but it's especially fun as a bard.

Not strictly BG3, but it sums up the dynamic between a sorcerer Tav and Gale pretty well - and even throws in the 'nice lady from the swamp' (and gets us maybe away from making this thread another AA discussion? *hinthint* wink )

Lol! yeah, it kind of took me aback. That's what makes his genuine affectionate moments special. It is sad to me how many people try to twist him into something that he's not.

Oh man, I need to try this. grin So many creative ways to be evil that I've missed.

-The sounds that Gale makes when he gets hit in battle (sorry, Gale). His voice actor was a perfect choice.

-Whenever someone falls prone on ice/slippery surfaces. biggrin Especially when they were just getting ready to do some badass spell or move.

-Hearing Raphael
singing his song DURING his boss battle at House of Hope! That's a moment I'll never forget. I don't think I've ever had a reaction like that during a game!

Shadowheart had an unfortunate accident in one of Lualitys playthroughs and had to get through her conversation with Viconia ... a bit different than normal.

Oh, my God! Ha ha! I honestly get the feeling he's trying to exercise and doing one arm push-ups.

A joke to the gnolls? Awesome! I also really like Astarion's reaction to Dribbles and his "applause".

I agree, this is probably the best fight in the game because of his song! I've fought him three times just for fun. That music makes for an awesome experience during the fight. My two favorite songs in the game are "I want to live" (which I associate exclusively with Astarion) and Raphael's song.

My first playthrough was in multiplayer with a friend... and I will laugh every time I see the red boots light up. In my game it is always Shadowheart who lies down. But I'm very easy to cheer up. smile

I also heard it for the first time in multiplayer. My friend said "Do you hear that? The song? What's happening?" We could only continue fighting after we finished listening to the song.

When I play with him, I've had 3 runs together so far, and then everything always gets blown up. He's always as happy as a little boy when he can blow up the goblin camp. The world is then a burning hell. Baldur's Gate experiences Armageddon from the fireworks shop. laugh Total barrelmancy. We always have a lot of fun in Discord while testing out the worst things.

It's so wonderful what you can do in the game, no matter how absurd it sometimes is. smile

Yah! I think I was just sitting there stunned for a moment lol. I heard the woman singing and I was a bit confused... then came his voice. xD Bravo, Borislav Slavov, Andrew Wincott, everyone who made it possible and brought it to life! I'd love to relive that moment of hearing it for the first time.

I have been way too careful in my playthroughs. I need to be more chaotic next time. smile

- Whenever the narrator (or anyone else) swoons about Gortash being young and handsome.
There's a lady at the Elfsong who even says he's "too young" to be an archduke. Umm...
Maybe they all have a "younger Gortash" mod installed? (Not hating on Gortash! Just funny to me for some reason whenever people in the game talk about him like this.)

Make every bad decision. smile I always play in honor mode and I just do stupid things. What is supposed to happen? Then we just die, I make a new game and we get better, I'll definitely make that stupid decision again, but this time I'm prepared. smile However, I have never died because of nonsense in the game, but because I underestimated situations. smile

THIS decision could have cost me my Honor Mode if my companions had jumped in after me. I have to say, that the day before I laughed at said friend in multiplayer because his fire elementals ignited something, at this exact point in the game. ^^ That must have been karma ... laugh

Omg, lol! Heart attack. hahaha Thankfully your team noticed you were burning and decided to stay back! Though I can't imagine your Astarion staying away for very long. (*tsk tsk* "Really, darling..." *revives you* ... "The kiss of life." <3)

"When the letter 'G' falls off the grave yard sign"

You are much braver than I am.^^ I'm too scared that something is going to happen during my honour run that forces me to restart or keeps me from continuing (like a stupid technical issue in the game).
My second playthrough I was playing it safe because I was also recording the main story moments for my sister. I think the fact that you're always doing it in honor mode is impressive!!

I really hope that one of my companions has a huge tube of burn ointment in their pocket. smile But yes, I was overconfident in the situation, now I ask myself, for example, why my Lae'zel has no KI points or why my group is even connected in the fight and why I'm even fighting with the entire group. smile

Maybe a mod could activate them so that they are in the game and repeated more often. There are mods to prioritize Astarion's reactions in some scenes, so what if it's possible to do the same with the lines? And it's just like a cure for a bad day, you can complain about something to Astarion on a picture and listen to his lines. smile

In honor mode, yeah, that's strong! And, already having reached this place. But this way you can get a dose of adrenaline! smile If at the first pass and on tactics you can get a lot of feelings because of the plot itself, but then, if you already know the game, to tickle your nerves in this way - it is yes, special feelings!

Well, Gortash doesn't look particularly old to me, rather he looks like he's been worn down by life (given his past, he probably has). Somewhere in the neighborhood of 30-35 years old, in my opinion. The question is what age is considered acceptable to be archduke... And how old is the lady herself. There is an unusual combination in Gortash's appearance in the way he dresses richly, pretentiously, deliberately luxuriously, and at the same time his hair and face look more like a gangster's or a ragamuffin from the street (no offense to Gortash's fans, it's just my perception, perhaps it is, on the contrary, his "thing" and he looks like that on purpose).

You don't have to be particularly good for Honor Mode, it's just the appeal that I end the game by dying. I always plan what I'm doing and then nothing works out smile I forget my potions and everything else I wanted to do. But that's exactly what's fun.

Try the Steelwatcher Titan with a Gloomstalker and a Bard with 2 1-hand Crossbows and all enemies are immune to piercing damage or take less damage from it... of course I don't think about that... that was fun. ^^ And I had planned so beautifully, to throw an invisibility potion at Scratch, he then sneaks through and starts the fight, so that the Titan is already there and I can attack while in stealth... none of it worked... except for Scratch, that one did his job smile

Too bad for Orin... All it does is make our motivation surge through the roof, make us twice as efficient and determined to win. :p

That would be great! I don't have any experience tinkering with mods, but I hope maybe someone could figure it out. Yes, I was just thinking today how much Astarion's quotes and comments can cheer me up when I'm having a bad day. I'd love to carry his little bat form around.^^ He'd always have a supportive and/or snarky response if someone is messing with you or if you're feeling down. Voila, instant and super powerful pick-me-up.

This is true, it's possible he's younger than he looks and sounds like to me. He did have a hard time in his younger years. I believe the lady at the Elfsong who made that comment about him being too young was a gnome and looked pretty young, but if I recall, they live longer than humans? Then it could make sense from her perspective. When I look at Gortash's picture on the posters that are hung up around the town, he looks pretty good on those imo. If he's meant to look like that, I could understand why the narrator is always gushing about his looks, lol. I thought he looks really interesting in the digital art book as well (or the concept art).

-This reminds me of something else I found funny: If you melee attack Gortash outside of battle, before the final fight,

and then apologize with: "Sorry, my hand slipped," He will kick your leg and say, "What a coincidence! So did my foot."
I think this may only happen if you team up with him and take him with you before the Netherbrain fight. I would never have found this little detail on my own! It's so funny the little things that the devs thought about.

Hi folks, let’s try to be inclusive and avoid diverting into long side discussions between two or three people that don’t engage with other posters.

Feel free to use the forum DM functionality if you want to talk to specific people, but let’s keep the chat here open and free flowing.

Thanks!

"What a coincidence! So did my foot." Ha ha! I never choose to ally with Gortash, and probably never will, so thanks for the video! Larian's dialog writing in incredible.

A little, possibly funny story for the weekend ...

There was someone, we won't say who, who was caught with his fingers in Volo's pockets one too many times. Then Volo and half the camp became aggro, even Scratch! Ok, I have to save Scratch, sorry, you're all going to die for Scratch! After everyone is dead and we want to treat our injuries and revive all the favors, what's the stupid dog's first action in the meantime? Yes, he runs into Gale's necrosis*sigh*. I could have had it easier. hahaha

(In German his name is "Kratzer", Nekrose=necrosis)

Running down the passage towards the temple of Bhaal.

Jaheira : Too open. We might as well bare our buttocks to every archer within a mile.
Lae'zel : A fair assessment. But I see no alternative.

I have 1600+ hrs of gameplay and been dozens of times through the magic mirror sealing the necromancer laboratory in Act 1. But it is the first time I chose the final option "examine your appearance", when the mirror asks your name.

Shows a cutscene where the player takes a cat wash and the narrator says : "You do your best to wipe the dirt from your face and look presentable. Adventuring is murder on one's wardrobe, though."

Considering you just fought a bunch of skeletons and are interrogated by a menacing magic mirror, this laconic intermezzo really made me giggle.

Did we always get a "Hungover" status after long-resting on too much booze? I don't remember seeing it before, and it just made me chuckle.

Also on the topic of camp supplies, Shadowheart asking why Withers didn't provide better rations on the road when he could summon up a feast at the epilogue party made me giggle. So true biggrin

I think, if you rest on only booze, you get the hiungover status. I did it once, because I had a lot of booze and it was after a hard fight, so in my headcanon, the group celebrated a bit. I got an acheivment and the hungover status out of it smile

Teasing Lae'zel and Tav

After the duel with Lae'zel in Camp, Tav kisses her for the first time.

The day after, the other companions have some teases for her.

I'm playing a halfling Tav now, and had to smile when she smacked Arradin in the face after the first grove fight. She literally had to jump up to give him that punch. A bit cartoonish, but funny, and well done by the graphic artist.

I don't remember that one from my game (I'm tempted to replay for it...), but I do like the way the small races move and the attention to detail on some of them. One that stuck with me is the leap onto the stool at the shadow cursed bar that makes them look pretty cool, but my favourite is Shadowheart's hug at the epilogue party. They could easily have just done a closeup of their upper bodies and used the same animations for every race, but someone cared enough to animate Shadowheart kneeling down and it's so sweet!

Yes, it all happens pretty fast, so it can easily escape attention. I screen captured it and made a Chuck Norris-like montage, first in real speed and then a repeat in slow motion. Good stuff.

This playthrough is crazy funny. That lady is so entertaining with her comments and just leave it here - it's her first playthrough and she tries to get all achievments with limited spoilers (more like 'Oh Sazza, I've read that name in an achievment, let's see what it was')

This is the second video covering act 2, but I think, it is even more funny than the first one.

I liked her honest reaction to everyone approving for recruiting Minthara: 'That lady tried to kill us through all of act 1. What is happening? Standards are dropping as low as our braincells'

Is that even possible ? How would she get the achievement to finish in honour mode and the one to finish in tactician mode in 1 PT ?
And there are specific durge achievements, which IMO will not compute with the Karlach dinnerdate.
Anyway, good luck to her.

She won't get all the achievements, you and I know that. But it is fun watching her play, because she has great comedic timing and a lot of fun just fucking stuff up. She is a Durge romancing Karlach btw.

My Half Orc met Philomena the Desperate. She threatened to blow herself up.
This brought up the the [CLERIC OF GRUUMSH] "Bring it on! I could use a show!" dialogue option. This gave me a chuckle laugh - very orky!
Which I selected in spite of knowing what it entailed laugh
IMO getting blasted with 82 Force (as a Half Orc I was left standing with 1HP) deserves an Inspiration Point smile

Oops. She did it again.

Now, I love most of Minthara's dialogue, with the noble, "of course I am evil, what of it?" voice. But last night, we were exploring the haunted mansion and got to the painting that spawns ghosts. When the battle was over, she said in an approving but slightly thoughtful voice, "If I ever have a portrait painted, I, too, would like zombies to pour from it on command"
