Huh, well I just did this fight and found two things.
1. The Pillars don't provide a bonus to Saving Throws but he did have +9 Dex Modifier and 27 AC, so it's only half functioning?
2. Tasha's Hideous Laughter doesn't activate "Inevitable Resolve", so he was just permanently out of the fight because of my 27 DC.
