I haven't been testing this one too much, but from what I've been observing it usually happens when it's auto-applied on a missed attack. So the next turn it will say it's not usable at the start of the turn, but then when I make an attack it becomes usable. It's quite wonky at times.

  • As for the Wolf Aspect; basically you start raging and any enemy that is within 2m of your raging Barbarian will get a debuff. This allows all your allies to have Advantage against these enemies, but ONLY for melee attacks. Ranged attacks do not benefit from this, neither does the Barbarian themself.

Personally I use the Tiger Barbarian though, it's an insane class with a very nasty AOE and crowd-control that can entirely lock down groups of enemies all at once.
Ahhh, I see. Thanks. I didn't realise it's a debuff to enemies only when first activated. I was interested in wolfheart as a potential advantage distributor to melee allies who have a harder time accessing it. If I want it to apply to more enemies, I'll burn through rage charges too quickly. Larian really ought to adjust the tooltip, that description is extremely misleading.

My problem with tiger is that I use stallion aspect as a source of HP. Karlach never ends up jumping. I tend to rely on other party members for AoE, especially magic users. I could do eagle heart and free up the the boots of speed, though.
