I don't think the issue is that he's incredibly evil. Plenty of romances with absurdly evil characters exist. It's that it's just not what this character's here for, or even something that seems up his alley. It's OOC/jarring. I feel that, like Raphael, a romance or a fling takes away from their mystique. Not everyone's meant to be romanced, no matter how charming they are.
