So after I beat tactician I load my Honor Mode save from while back. And all of a sudden no one in my party can scribe spells from scrolls. The option is there, I see the price but if I choose to Learn spell nothing happens. Found this with Gale, tried hireling and even respeced my main character bard to wizard. No one can learn spells. I'm certain that previously I was able to learn spells because Gale have Cheeky Quasit spell. So can I fix this somehow? I really wanted to have wizard in this playthrough.

I am on PS5, currently on Patch 5, Hotfix #18.
I am in Act 3 on Honour Mode and can confirm learning spells still works for me.

I have a Level 9, Abjuration wizard Tav and a Level 9, Evocation wizard Gale. Both are able to learn spells without issue. Here is a screenshot (I cropped it, and placed them side-by-side):

If your characters are not able to learn spells, check the following:
  • Make sure the scrolls you want to learn are in your wizard's inventory, and not inside a backpack.
  • Check to make sure your Wizard has high enough level to learn the spells. Check the Roman Numeral on the bottom right corner of the scroll. If your wizard is only level 1, this means they can only learn level I (1) scrolls. My characters are currently at level 9, and can learn up to Level V (5) scrolls. If you are trying to learn scroll levels that are much higher than your wizard's level (e.g. a level 1 wizard trying to learn level 3 scrolls), the scroll will show up red and you will not be able to learn the scroll until you level up.
  • Check and make sure you have enough gold to cover the cost of learning the spell.

I figured out what was the problem. I noticed that now you can see all of your gold in the trade screen, even gold that in the chest in your camp. So I sent all of it to camp. Your reply was very helpful actually because I never seen this screens with transcribing. I always just chose scrolls and clicked Learn Spell in the menu. But now I found this amazing screen with multiple scrolls to scribe and there was a notice that I don't have enough gold. Naturally I didn't, all of my gold was in camp chest. So thank you for your reply it was very helpful!

I'm glad that helped you ^_^

For other plays who normally don't play wizard, or don't know where to find the Transcribe Spells page, this is how I normally access it on PS5:
Press R2 to open your radial. Select spellbook:

Press Triangle to learn more spells (this will take you to the Transcribe Spells page, where you can learn spells from scrolls):

Wizards, unlike other spellcasters who can only change spells at level up, can change their spells any time outside of combat. So you can also press square to prepare/change any spell you have already learned on this page.

I normally have multiple spells I want to learn, so I have all the spells on-hand then learn them all at once.
