I was doing a new run through and when I got to the goblin camp, I split Asterion and had him stationed / hiding by the beer ready to poison it. I talked to the cub and it got my smell and I told it about my camp. When everyone was running to watch the race, I poisoned the beer and 1/2 died and the race never started. Right after everyone died the cub ran around the camp and escaped but has never shown up in my camp. Not sure if the quest line was broken due the race not being run but I thought the cub should come after it ran out of the camp.
Not sure if anyone else has tried nor seen this but I'm going to complete this run minus owlbear.
