When Speaking to Dror Ragzlin, you get the option to ask the Mind Flayer who killed it, if you allow this option to play through the Mind Flayer shows an image of your face. I tried this conversation line while using the Disguised Self spell active and no other party members present but the outcome was still the same the Mind Flayer shows an image of your face (which is still true) but I think there should be a dialog line which adds in something about being a different appearance and Dror not knowing that that face belongs to you.
