He can call a swarm that does pretty massive force damage and for some reason he kept targeting my Tav wizard instead of the clerics as he did in earlier modes. When my wizard went down it undid the sleet storm, got rid of my summons and kept me from counterspelling. And of course others wasted a round reviving Tav
On the second playthrough I made sure to have death ward active and I bought everything the tabernacle merchant had to sell.
