Last summer I bought a new PC, especially for BG3.
I played for a while and created lots of characters but never made it through act 1.
Then in November when I had created a new character once again, suddenly nothing worked anymore the game constantly froze.
I uninstalled the game, uninstalled GOG Galaxy, re-uploaded & installed it, and re-uploaded & installed BG3. I could not even get to character creation.
So I uninstalled/reinstalled the graphic drivers & the chip drivers. But it didn't help.
At this time I was busy solving some family & other problems and didn't have the time to try and solve the problem, but now it's February and it angers me that I invested in a new PC but am unable to play the game.
I asked in forums for help, but nobody knew what to do, some of the people wrote that my graphic card was defective. But I can watch YouTube videos on the PC, how can the graphic card be defective?
Whatever I try, I get error messages:
Vulkan: unrecoverable Vulkan error
DirectX: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED Description Hardware device removed
Can someone help me to fix the problem?
