But luckily crashes don't destroy honour mode, so I was able to just boot up in the beginning of the House of Hope again and all went normal.
I so far haven't lost anyone, but some more serious bugs - like the party skip turns bug in Moonrise or a bug, that prevents me from lifting the Shadowcurse. Halsin just vanished from my camp without comment (which is a good thing) and some other strange things. During the Marcus fight the game froze and I had to close and open again.

My biggest panic attack so far was the Yurgir fight, I wanted to go the lick teh spider and convince the displacer beast to leave route, accidently hit the wrong button, got out of stealth and started the fight with disadvantage with Yurgir and Co above me. I had luckily good initiative and threw every lingering AoE up there from Arms of Hadar to Spike Growth. It worked, I killed them with not much lost health on our side. Ketheric was a walk in the park compared to that scare.

My girl was mostly lucky with preventing fights, since she is a sword bard/archfey warlock and can basically sell bathing suites in Icewind Dale. She is in Rivington now. My biggest fear right now are House of Grief, House of Hope and maybe Orin fight (I'm not playing a Durge)

Raphael popped up and grabbed Tav the second I walked out of the Druid Grove (on the path to Alfira) :x That was the EARLIEST I have EVER gotten him. I didn't get any crashes during my playthrough.

I lifted the shadowcurse without issue. My first blind Honour Mode playthrough, I full-party died to Oliver because I left Shadowheart and Tav inside the wasting quiet legendary action. The second run, I was EXTRA careful. I waited until my characters were at level 8-9, finished Balthazar and the Gauntlet of Shar before I tackled Oliver. He was surprisingly easy once I knew to pull away from him, don't attack his shield directly, and pull up a wall of fire so that all the shadow Olivers just die on contact.

Yurgir is one of the main reasons I do not play warlock. I actually went into that battle with 4 inspirations to persuade him to kill himself. Even if you can persuade him to kill off the myrmidons, that makes things much easier. I have finished the full battle (all 8 myrmidons, Yugir, and 2 displacer beasts), and there is actually a ledge where you can sneak up behind him, and get surprise advantage. The hardest part is crowd-controlling all the myrmidons, and remembering to pick up the nice little bombs Yurgir throws so they don't explode.

^ THAT IS EXACTLY HOW I DIED MY FIRST RUN. I actually posted about it on the Honourable Deaths thread

I normally play games blind, so everything I discover, I try and find on my own.
I did NOT look up the new legendary actions, and it absolutely cost me this run.

What happened was, Oliver has a Legendary Action called "The Wasting Quiet (Condition)". My Tav and Shadowheart had two rings of the Wasting Quiet surrounding them. What this condition does, is it completely silences characters standing within the ring, AND does 3-24 necrotic damage every time they start or enter their turn inside the aura. This means that I could not misty step, or use any magic features to move myself out of the aura.

Had I looked this up beforehand, I would have absolutely drank necrotic resistance potions, disengaged both characters, and had them walk outside the ring. However, I wasn't metagaming and these characters don't know what this ability is, and neither did I. I let them stay in the ring, and that's when everything went downhill. Both characters got surrounded by Oliver's clones, at the beginning of their turn, both characters were downed. Halsin was already in Owlbear form, and was taking care of the shadow wraiths, however because he was transformed, he was unable to throw a healing potion at my downed characters. Even if he had, they would have started their turn inside the aura, and they would have died anyways. I had Gale use a revival scroll, and resurrect a character outside of the aura, but the resurrected character only had 1HP, which was immediately killed off by all the shadow Olivers running around.

I'm not even sad about the run coming to an end, Oliver got me fair and square. I'm glad knowing I died because it was my own fault. Better this than a game-ending bug smile

I have to admit, this run forced me to do so many things I never would have otherwised considered. I found that I absolutely love Shadowheart as a Life Domain cleric. I stacked so much healing equipment on her, even "5 HP heals" became "25HP heals." In balanced and tactician, things like Sanctuary or Death Ward, I didn't use; on Honour mode, these skills could mean the difference between winning or losing. Had a blast on this run, but I feel really sad losing my character, I was rather attached to her TT^TT
