On my first playthrough I drank Lae'zel dry (the narration said she smelled tasty and she insisted on controlling the tadpole not being an option) after she told us about the creche, so we checked it out to learn more about the artefact with one of the group disguised as a githyanki. It was weirdly fun but did not have nearly the emotional intensity as visiting the creche with Lae'zel. It also brought me the questionable pleasure of having to deal with Vlaakith's troups without Voss's gadget. (Do not recommend, especially if it is your first playthrough and they really surprise you.) Like for @Saeran, this playthrough also ended with freeing Orpheus, simply because I wanted an alternative to the Emperor.

I too like dear Gale best, not because I identify with him, but because I simply really like him. Some things about him remind me of a good friend of mine.
