I end up taking Shadowheart every time. She has a really good story arc and I really enjoy her snarky side comments while exploring.
I also love Lae’zel’s character development throughout the game, also her side banter and rivalry with Shadowheart.
I don’t take Gale every time, but I miss him when I don’t.
I never understood the love for Astarion, but playing now as a Dark Urge, I get it. Should definitely take him along for any Dark Urge run.
I voted for Shadowheart, but it could’ve been any of the above. Although my real favorite is Raphael!
