Had a thought after reading the "training hope" scrolls and considering Hope's spirited defense of her sister's goodness AND her refusal to leave the hells. I wonder if Korilla and Hope were the same person? Korilla Hearthflame got entangled with Raphael, he tortures her for years, she resists but eventually breaks and then the only part of Korilla's goodness that remains is a small sliver of Hope. Kinda like the twofold truth heresy.

I know it's a tin foil hat theory but hear me out:

If you read it through the Pandora's box story. Korilla opens the box, all sorts of misery ensues BUT that misery comes with with the boon of hope.

That is a nice theory, so I do think, they are two different persons. I always thought that Raphael took an interest in the sisters for some reason and Korrilla was open for working with him and Hope not. She seems to be another cleric of Selune, judging by what she wears ( which is basically the same outfit, Isobel wears), so probably not in favour working with a devil. He still might have some hold about her. I always thought, that one of their parents might have promised him their children's services for something and Korrilla was ok with that and Hope not. But I do like your theory. It is sad, that those two got a bit sidelined in the HoH story in favour of that silly Haarlep encounter.
