Would love though if they went out of their comfort zone and introduced a limited GRID base inventory, limited non-endless bags of holding....for Honor mode, or new more 'difficult' modes.

Imagine that. Thinking of what you need to keep for your adventure and not being able to endlessly horde stuff. Strategy UP, difficulty UP, world building UP : so much more fun and in line with the D&D world. Suddenly STUFF matters.

I am in the school of thought that hard gameplay LIMITATIONS and RULES creates more interesting, challenging and fun RP opportunities.
Games that opens up everything and let you be, have or do whatever you want are the ultimate bore to me.

And again Larian's approach: ''Why confuse everyone and have separate looking bags (aka key rings, scroll cases etc...) when we can just have NO RULES NO LIMITATION regular bags were you can put everything you want into them...''. Just like the inventory.

It just reminded me of the bowl of goat's milk that old Winthrop used to put outside his door every evening for the dust demons. He said the dust demons could never resist goat's milk, and that they would always drink themselves into a stupor and then be too tired to enter his room..
