The game has sent in 2 crash reports so far please fix

Patch 6 just installed and crashes when trying to continue my current game.
Crash cannot be sent to Larian because of a Http 500 error.
(I do have internet connections to other sites working flawlesly)
i'd copy/paste the gobbledygook in the crash dialogue here, but it doesnt't enable copying. (Windows 11/Steam installatuin)

I retried several times and suddenly, the game didn't crash anymore. I get the "push any key" screen to go to the main menu, I push "continue" and then it loads to 100% and returns to the "push any key menu". I can repush a key , see the menu again and choose "continue" or "load game" again and it goes on like this ad eternum.

I can create a new game with Karlach as origin character. It goes well until I find the first rune slate in the first nautiloid room. It doesn't respond. Right click on it and I get the "read" menu item, active. But clicking does nothing. I can pick it up though, but not read.

Anyway, I would love to continue my existing Karlagh game.

I think it might be best to wait until they get some of the bugs sorted. New patches always introduce some bugs.

Is there any way we can request rollback on this update patch?

No amount of clearing cache and checking file integrity could make game load my Honor Mode save file without CTD + executable no longer working until PC Reset.

Now I'm trying to do clean 130GB redownload to check if my safe file dead (thanks for -50 hours and 0 community note on steam about incoming patch that going to ruin my playthrough)

Most propably no community notes because most have no problems at all…
But you can allways postpone updates a little bit. But it still does hurr if you belong to that minirity that get affected by update.
Maybe try to avoid at least 2 weeks updates until the first hotfix comes out. But that does not help if your computer configuration happens to be the one that causes the bug.
It allways amase me that so few problems with PC that are so different from each others! I would expect much more problems in a mix match chaos like PC games!

a patch = start a new game
only a hotfix = you can keep playing the old one without restarting

Steam doesn't make that distinction.
Patch 6 was installed behind my back. So my Karlagh game is unrecoverable ?

Please, check your facts before you post your blaming statements.
By default steam set to install updates automatically. So without knowledge of incoming patch people could do nothing to protect their old patch saves.

I do seem to recall that for patch 4 I saw a warning screen, explaining that old saves would become obsolete, and how to continue with the unpatched version. This time I saw nothing, it was installed automatically without any warning or opt-out possibility. So I figured patch 6 would be compatible.
Patch 5 loaded also while I was in a game and I could continue it.

Not so with my current save, unfortunately. It sucks because I had gotten quite fond of the Karlagh as PC. But I don't think I'll start all over again.

It just crashed on me again when I tried to lockpick a chest near the crashed nautiloid. when the dex check came up the game crashed,

Crashing here as well, game is completely unmodded, freshly installed and playing on a fresh save. For me the trigger for the crashes seem to be talking with Astarion.
EDIT: I fixed the issue from my end by clearing shader cache and ckearing AppData. Once I did those, the launcher recognized an error within the files, and pointed to a Patch 4 Hotfix pak file that was still laying around in Data folder of the game, I deleted the pak file and now I can talk to Astarion once again without crashing! I've crashed probably 6 times since the latest patch. Never crashed once in the ~150 hours of playtime before the patch. Doesn't matter if I'm using mods, no mods, save file with mods, or save file with no mods -- game still occasionally crashes. Today it was more stable than yesterday, but the program still crashed after 3-4 hours of gameplay.
