I don't know about favorite, but I can tell you that Wyll is absolutely useless!
His Eldritch Blast never hits, and he goes down before even Shadowheart every time.
Wyll's default stat block is terrible. I complained about this during early access, but here we are...
Its easy enough to fix with respec though. Drop int to 10, wis to 8, and cha to 16. That should give you enough points to boost dex to 16 and hold con at 14. If you use mage armor and a shield this gets your AC to 18, which is good enough if you stay back.
If you take devils sight (and you should) then you can cast darkness on yourself and stand in it for better defense and advantage on attacks.
