Unfortunately, while I do adore Orin as well, I don't think she will ever be spared. She's too far gone. If only she had gotten the Dark Urge treatment, who knows. Alas, she's a tragedy, and I enjoy her story as is. Sad stuff, despite everything. Also, yes, she is absolutely gorgeous.
However: I have also given thought to the idea that Orin could impersonate Tav's love interest and start a respective kind of suspicious romance scene until she reveals herself. That would require a lot of work though, and also her kidnapping the LI, which was the original intent but was scrapped after feedback.
Let's hope for more Orin content if they release definitive edition, at least.
