I get that party banter is only between two party members without the Tav being involved, but if they flirt it's not something I want to ignore (if one of them is a relationship with the Tav, that is).

If Larian added all of this without noticing the contradictions, then they could rework it after all the feedback, but if they did it on purpose, then I question their morals and/or their capability of writing consistently.

They could, they simply don't want to and it's been proved, because they didn't it so many months after the premiere. Honestly, all that shit with Halsin just made me kill him on my every playthrough now. This is the first companion/NPC in my 20 years of gaming that made me completely uncomfortable. That says a lot.

My hope is dwindling, but there is still a tiny bit left, especially after patch 6, as they at least changed some stuff from the characters. They won't change big chunks of it, but I feel like tiny changes could go a long way.
