Unpopular opinion, but SH+Halsin poly would've been recieved way better for many(and with tons of fanart I'm sure) if Halsin was a girl. Just because SH is the choice of straight male or lesbian.

And there would be more cries and discomfort if Halsin+Astarion poly would be with Halsin as a girl. Just because audience.

I know I would feel the same anyway to this situation though.
