A very well written letter with none of the drama exhibited in the OP here.

Yeah, that's pretty reasonable and sums up the concerns very well. This is a test of Larian's flexibility and attention to their dedicated community on how they handle it. Are they still at core the same company that was funded by fans to make the games that allowed them to get where they are now? Or are they starting the slow descent into Bethesdatude (vile and sad corporate mediocrity)

For me, the only way I ever play this game is if there are numerous and extensive mods available for the game that fix the great many problems and deficiencies I see in the game. So naturally, I very strongly and passionately support the modding community for this game, and hold out hope that they will salvage this game for me with mods that go well beyond just addressing superficial additions/changes to the game.

That said, I also am very strongly in agreement that harrassing or in other ways pressuring devs, and certainly threatening them, cross a line that ought not be crossed and cannot ever be tolerated or condoned. Getting frustrated is understandable; I am EXTREMELY frustrated with Larian myself. But that does not in any way justify threatening or harrassing people. Furthermore, that kind of behavior only serves to stiffen people's resolve against you, which is then counterproductive to the cause. So it just doesn't make any sense to behave that way.

Thanks for sharing. All they are asking for is a bare minimum of support from Larian one would think.
