The only thing I would add is to take care for some replacement weapons in case that your throwing toy is lost, despite being "returning" or "bound". Had it sometimes despite waiting and waiting and waiting. It's sad that Faerun seemingly did not develop instant cameras, to take pictures of the absolute dump face expression of the mighty thrower in such situations.
It's also interesting how many inconveniencies people bear just to get a bit more of something (damage) which is actually not very necessary for even Honour mode. I tried a much less elaborated but more convenient thrower build some time ago, it was nice, a bit boring and in my opinion not of enough help to the group. How would you rank such a Berserker thrower (EK I don't like from lore) if there were a) no strength potions and b) no prone from the bonus actions.
