To sum up, the same effort that has been put in Shadowheart, should be put in the other romances. In Astarion case, that means adding a couple of scenes/interactions in Act 3 after Cazador. Let him ask for an (expensive) present or clothes he likes. Let him ask for a portrait from the artist. Let him disappear one night to do who knows what and later find out what has he done now that he is free (I would say stealing Gale's underwear, but since many people have done that before, something else XD).

I know the ritual changed him, but let me know changed him how? not just by neck grabbing or lips biting ,whether is becoming abusive or toxic or evil, but it seems like you can only see that side when you are romancing him, and I am planning on starting a new run just friendzone him, so i would love to see how he shows theses new traits as well, so i could say: hey dude chill!! lol (please correct me if anyone has done friendship path and felt the otherwise. apologize first if I assumed wrongly), thats why i hope the massive change after becoming a vampire ascended, should not be only focus on the intimacy scene but on everyday behavior towards other companions or reactions to side quests/NPC etc., that is if Larian was trying to show his new traits after ascension by the new kssing scenes.

No, not only you, i did the spawn route too, and i feel exactly the same way, this is why i prefer AA route, I mean at least for me even the ritual changed him in someway, you can still see his old self from act1 and 2, and that was why i romanced him in the first place lol,
the spawn feels like he got changed even more drastically than AA , and thats how i personally felt when i played, because at some point i swear to god i was imagining myself asking him: who are you????lololol why are you all sweet and compassionate now? I want my old mischievous-manipulative -kinda evil(sorry for the term because i am not familiar with how DND lore described good evil chaotic ) bf back lol and now i feel this new life spawn is following me everywhere and i have to decide whats good /bad for him like a mommy. (It’s like in act1 and 2 , I have to do anything he likes to get him to confess to me, and in ac3 , I feel it’s the other way around, now he is saying or acting anything that I might like to make me not leave him, if you can get what i mean, but again , it’s just how I felt when I played).
i personally feel Astarion has quite a lot of contents (see our poor boy Wyll T_T), but i really hope Larian could see all these fantastic ideas and feedback and give it another chance to make Astarion both routes more.......mmm...logical?
