One thing I'd like to add is that games should have more reader-friendly fonts, even if they look like garbage. I'm talking about things like Comic Sans and the kinds of subtitles you would see on a DVD as opposed to a streaming service.

Interesting. Have the ability to do both, but change the font with a setting. Nice thought.

Also thank you to the individual who pinned this for the other players .

Agree, but not everyone can play on PC, myself included. Trust me if I could, I wouldn't be stuck on the nautiloid still, after a month.

I wanted to say that mybe u sound use steam deck in docking mod. Because it have magnifying glass. And u can use this feature even docked. But currently its not working. There is a work around. But you already have some issue I doubt it will help. Mybe in the future if steam os realease to other platforms it will be a huge win for you.
I just wanted to say one more thing my brother is half blind one of her eye has 10 diopter on the other he can see any more. Wen I gived him my deck to try it out docked. Next day he buyed one. Because he really liked bg1 and 2 and the text is unreadable for him now.

So don't give up the hope. Because it's really that good of a feature.

Even for a fairly well-sighted person, some of the icons on screen are absurdly small and the click boxes to interact with them even smaller. (Example: trying to drop concentration on a spell.)

While I hope Larian will make changes, game studios need to normalize making accessibility a core feature by default. For such a well crafted game, it is a glaring omission.

When I was young I never thought my body would give me trouble doing basic things, but here I am. There are accessibility consultants than can help smooth the learning curve. Please use them.

OP: Do consoles not have magnifying glasses and screen readers built in? They may not work for your situation, but if you haven't tried them, perhaps they can. Of course, it still doesn't excuse accessibility features being missing from BG3.

I I had a similar thought but my playstation 5s screen reader is only for the actual device

Changes being slow to come doesn’t mean they won’t come at all. Though it’s unclear which feedback approach is likeliest to cause Larian to act, I reckon polite persistance is the best way to go.

Not to be rude, but I'm patientce for this game, went out the window. We have games like The Last of Us 2, which IMO has the greatest options, Marvels Spider-Man 1 and 2, Miles Morales, Hogwarts Legacy, and Diablo 4 to name a few.

This game has been available to the public for years. It was officially released about a month ago. Minor accessability. And all they had to do to fix 90% of the issues was Install a screen reader. Or what happened to making a sticky for this post so others Can post their Accessability issues?
Sorry I missed your post (which doesn't read as rude to me, btw). I agree with all of it, especially considering Larian are nominated for a Best Community Support award.

I hope patch 5 lets more paying gamers play and that proper accessibilty makes it to the top of Larian's to do list for their future games.

It has been months since I made my initial request and years since BG3 came out. I'm still having to count the dialogue to make sure that I'm selecting the right option. Can we get an arrow on the side or something for the dialogue or any written choice, like the menu? That would be a great accessibility option since there's no voice to read me any option.
