As someone who plays this game for the wonderful story, it is painful to the point I just wanna go smash my head through a wall, break down and cry for all eternity... just like Astarion does;
This is the most heart-breaking scene, I couldn't stand this, it's a whole hurricane of pain that washes over you. And reading your post, I just want to assure you, I feel with you and you are not alone. I just want to tell you this: Don't despair, our heart can bear the pain even if we die a thousand deaths.
