A Codec no doubt, I actually had a similar problem for a long time. I fixed it by checking the properies of the movie file (well, I had the actual file, it's harder for online movies). There it showed the codec for the movie and I did an online search. Turns out it comes with Windows XP, but that the codec still was sort of incomplete. I had to copy the code from somebody's post, make it into a special sort of zip file, unpack it and put it in the right directory heh. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Took me a good 15 minutes of work, but since then I can watch most movies with both sound and image.
