Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Multiplayer bug

I'm running a three man co-op run with my brother and boyfriend and we have had multiple bugs.
I try and reload a save we end up getting either locked out on a loading screen or if I try and swap characters because my boyfriend is know control my character we end up frozen and just controlling the camera.
I also end up with the game freezing and not responding when I try and quite out or return to main menu when I control the camera which means I have to force a shut down from the task manager.
My boyfriend tried to host a game and had the same issue as above on a brand new play through.
If he starts dialog he cant view it or interact with it, he has also had it skip dialog and I've had to try and reload because its given Shadaowheart to the House of Grief (resulting in the above bug as well)
I've also had this random continue bug on dialog on a solo play through were I have had no dialog options show up.

It's fine when me and my brother play on ours as a two man the only issue I've had with that is his character not moving on my end when he is moving.

It's getting to the point were my boyfriend doesn't even want to play that save ( even though we only have a bit to go to complete it) or any save because we spend more time stuck or glitching out loading and reloading than actually playing. This has been happening since the last update on the 7th. I've uninstalled the game reinstalled the game everything and nothing is helping, I dont want my boyfriend to have to miss out on the ending after spending so many hours to get there just because of a game breaking bug.

Had another thing happen since the last update which has put the final nail in my Boyfriends coffin and he has just given up trying to play entirely at this point.

We did everything that was suggested to us from another forum and a discord I frequent which was.
Uninstall then reinstall the game.
Clear all mod's.
Load a save before the crash started to happen.
Me give my Boyfriend the save and have him host.
Started a new game with him hosting no mods.
Started a new game with me host no mods.
Checked on steam for no missing file's or anything.

Given that all that I posted up top is only happening when my boyfriend plays, the game I run with my brother is completely fine no crashes no issue's no nothing.
We have the exact same mod's and everything and our game is still running smooth I can load and reload a save with him without it crashing or swapping characters and coursing the game to freeze but the camera to still work.
Yesterday me and my boyfriend tried to load it up and check if the crashing had been sorted, he started a new game invited me but as soon as I joined the party I was kicked out, wasn't running mods or anything as we wanted to try and work out the save load issue.
I made a new campaign invite him same thing instant kick at 100%.
We cant even join our existing campaign as it just kicks us at 100%.

Tried with my brother no issue's can host and invite him and vice versa.

At this point he has just given up uninstalled his mods manager and literally called it quiet's doesn't even want to do a solo run as its coursed to many issue's for him to even enjoy it.
If anyone else can offer anything it would be a great help or we will have to hope and pray that this gets sorted out so he can enjoy the game again.

Dang this is exactly the problems my Wife and I are having. Sucks we are probably gonna abandon the game until it gets sorted. Tried all the fixes does exactly the same.

What platform are you playing on? How did you give him the save ? And also when uninstalling and reinstalling ,did it keep your saves when you logged back into larian ?

You cleared your mods. Are you sure, your problems with the game aren‘t the results of mods?
