It used to be that on my game with mods installed, with
every new patch the game would
reset the dialogue history - and i didn't like that.
Is that still a thing? It was the reason why i stopped playing months ago, hoping the patches will eventually stop, and then i will be finally able to play the game the way i want, but i am not patient enough
(i am NOT complaining about Larian fixing the game - THANK YOU Larian, keep at it please)If i understand correctly, the history reset is a side effect of the "mod fixer" (be it via my script, or via BGSE), which causes the game to "recompile the story"
(whatever that means) ?
So, i am thinking - if i convert all my mods into "replacers"
(***), not needing a "mod fixer" anymore, the history resets shouldn't happen anymore.
Am i right?
(*** not sure how else to call it. What i mean is not using a PAK mods, but placing raw files directly under "Data" folder in the game installation path)If i am right, before i start converting all of my mods into "replacers", i want to know whether the dialogue history reset with every patch is still a thing?
