Oh God. I think that we've managed to f' this up by making it more interesting! People don't just want to be of a class, but of a particular level in that class (me included). I can see only two solutions:

Have custom titles for those with 1500+ posts, but this will encourage spamming.

Going back to Stranger, Member, etc., but this is boring.

Also, I agree that Death Dragon isn't the best for top level Undead. I realise I suggested it, but we have a Dragon class on it's own. What if we added Ghost to the start of the list and shifted the others up a notch:

• Ghost
• Zombie
• Skeleton
• Lich of Mummy (I don't get this one. They're two different creatures. Rat?)
• Vampire (I really can't think of a more powerful undead humanoid.)

I like after 1500 or 2000 sutom ranks, and if someone starts writing crap with more than a lot of posts of crap a day, than they get put there post count to 0 again. and if they keep it up, than they et banned.

what about Wraith which can be after skeleton? lich is different from mummy, i feel.

what about necromancer, which is one of the undead citizens? it can be after vampire. if the good guys have Divinity title, then undead should have an equivalent: Hades.

like Lews, i like the idea of custom titles for 1500+ posters as it will convolute the 1500+ from 3000+ from 10000+. meaning, after u hit 1500 posts, titles are just mere decor & not post-count milestones. titles will be just like what they have now for british royalties; nice but broken & redundant.

Wraith is good! Do you mean instead of Lich or inbetween that and Skeleton?

I thought of Necromancer, but Necromancer's aren't generally undead. I think the one in Divine Divinity was an exception. He was only undead because he found means to resurect himself before he died. A Necromancer is one who can manipulate death. Thinking about it, it might fit after Vampire (instead of Death Dragon).

Since you put the posts that way, with 1500+ being the limit for ranks, perhaps we could do that?

I like Death Dragon too Kiya. grumble grumble. whats wrong weith it? though custom, you could type Death Dragon in as custom.

Good point. I was thinking along the lines that those who want to be a dragon have that option already. We could probably make all of the classes end in dragons - Dragon Rider (Warrior), Gold Dragon (Wizard), Black Dragon (Orc), Ancient Dragon (Dragon), Death Dragon (Undead), Weredragon (Druid) - but not everyone wants to be a dragon.

for poeple over 1500 yo shopuld be able to enter a new thing, called custom , were you enter what you want, or a new class of dragons druids, warriors, orcs, and others.

Give up, HandEFood - you can't satisfy everybody - the best could be custom - I'd apply for Josie then <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />

Exactly, you can't satasfy everybody. I think the fact that there are ranks are satasfaction enough! I think the other thing I was trying to do with the ranks was write a sort of story. Dragons grow up, orcs gain experience, and the undead gain terror and power.

about kiya's <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> state on death dragon, since it's custom title then i have no argument. the undead can have DEAD dragon. since it's dead, it can't argue. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

maybe the ultimate undead dude will be deathatthedoor.

heck, with custom titles we might even see jurak as tree hugger orc, or shyon as anime samurai x, or rose as 'by any other name is still a ...'.

we'll see creativity in tonnes.
