BG3's interface and GUI team has moved on, ever since the end of EA (I'd argue, way before that...)
Not a chance in a million.

Like asking to remove Larian's legendary stinky homebrew TCSS (toilet chain selection system) to replace it with what has worked perfectly fine for over 25 years of computer RPG gaming with fast and direct Keyboard and Mouse selection interfaces. You know, where you can pin point select specific things or characters (or group of characters) because a mouse is great at doing that...

TCSS should of been used JUST for consoles, since the rest of their specific UI is already quite bad anyways.

And to people who think Larians system is perfectly fine...have you ever selected with your mouse multiple folders/files in Windows or Macos and move them around? Isn't it fast, precise and convenient? Now imagine having Larian's TCSS selection method instead.

It just reminded me of the bowl of goat's milk that old Winthrop used to put outside his door every evening for the dust demons. He said the dust demons could never resist goat's milk, and that they would always drink themselves into a stupor and then be too tired to enter his room..
