I really don’t want to be overly negative here, nor do I wish to derail the thread. It’s really cool that community managers interact with the community with increasing frequency. It’s really cool that more or less all feedback makes it back to the devs.
In this instance, OP’s points 1, 2 and 5 have definitely been made during early access, before the full release which was 100% complete according to Larian. That means Larian’s devs have made up their minds on these points: Their answer was “no”.
OP was probably excited to hear directly from Larian about the possibility of change to the game; I’d say they made a fan there. But what will happen when the last patch drops and those changes aren’t there? Won’t OP become a detractor?
Why are Larian stoking the flames of hope when, in all likelihood, these flames and fans will end up burning out? That’s the part I really don’t understand.
