Hello all,

While some of our EU and Oceania PS5 friends have begun unboxing their console Deluxe Editions, we are still at the mercy of production issues for those waiting on their North America PS5 and Xbox copies.

Although we were hopeful there would be no more delays, we share your frustration in waiting to receive your copies. We are working closely with our partners to ensure those who have pre-ordered PS5 US version should begin to see their copies shipped later this month, and Xbox versions within the next two weeks.

Though out of our control, we remain in constant communication with our partners to ensure they hit your doorstop as soon as possible.

Why not give out digital codes to those still waiting to play?
Unlike PC versions, both PS5 and Xbox versions are full disc games, and sold as a physical edition, which means we are unable to substitute these pre-orders with digital downloads.

What has made this take so long?
Changes in the scope and manufacturing of the physical copies on console meant that the production process needed to be revisited, causing a delay in shipping.

Were disappointed it has taken longer than the initial expected timeframe we had, which was offered to you ahead of preordering. We hope not to have to update you with any further news of delay, and you should receive an email once your copy has shipped.

We have disappointing news to share with you.

While we were so hoping to not have to update owners of the console physical Deluxe Edition with any further news of delay, weve now run into more production issues which means that players who pre-ordered their PS5 North America copy that was expected to ship later this month, will now have to wait until July before they can get their hands on them.

Due to production changes outside of our control, we have had to follow certain processes specifically set by production companies when manufacturing the PS5 discs, and unfortunately, the approval for particular regions has taken much longer than expected.

We expect all PS5 North America copies to be ready in around 14 days - followed by another 10 days to begin delivering these directly to players. We are also in talks with the manufacturer to understand whether it is possible to hire extra temporary staff to reduce assembly times.

Knowing that there are some of you still waiting to play Baldurs Gate 3, despite the fact we are unable to substitute physical goods with digital versions, we can only deeply apologise that your preorders have again been delayed.

By committing to creating physical editions, we were hoping to preserve the almost nostalgic feeling of unboxing your newest game, and this is a commitment were hoping to bring into the future with us, this time ensuring we continue to work closely with our partners to manage the planning and production process.

Were so sorry its taking so long to get your preorder to you, and thank you, for continuing to support us.

How can I get the digital content from my physical Deluxe Edition?

The digital content codes for the Baldur's Gate 3 physical Deluxe Edition have been emailed to those with a PS5 EU or Oceania console copy, and we are in the process of emailing the codes for Xbox versions.

Once youve received your physical copy and installed Baldurs Gate 3, please redeem your Xbox or PS5 code that will have been emailed to you, and stop by your camp chest to grab your in-game bonus items, and don't forget to secure your digital soundtrack, artbook, and character sheets by visiting: https://larian.com/account/digital-extras

I have to say, the shipping for the U.K. and lack of contact/updates that are HELPFUL have really tainted my view and experience of dealing with Larian. It feels like "we've got your money, now tough!"

Not a nice experience and one I won't be doing (or recommending) again.

Extremely disappointed and let down.

It's been almost 2 weeks since I got my courier email stating they would be receiving the item to then delivering it to me. Almost 2 weeks and the message is still "we are awaiting delivery of the item from the supplier".
This, along with my ignored emails and lack of communication, leads me to believe we have been lied to.
As mentioned above, I've lost faith in Larian and won't be quick to jump in and deal with them in the future.

What is going on with this? I've had the xbox version on order since Novemeber, i've never had a courier email or text and now i'm getting emails telling me to redeem digital items which i can't do without the physical game. The order status hasn't been updated since last year, was there even enough copies of the game produced or are they fobbing us off whilst they try to make them in the background?

I'll tell my bank next time I have money production problems haha. Crazy that it's called ps5 & xbox, but 99.9% of the complaints only come from xbox players. I don't insinuate anything, but if you see connections, you see them.

I should mention that there appears to be an issue with with the Xbox key that was emailed out yesterday. When I redeemed it, it was for a digital copy of the base game and not the bonus items and soundtrack as stated in the email. I've already emailed merch-support@larian.com to investigate, but I have concerns the wrong keys are being issued out.

Exactly. Larian has no control over these issues. Everyone is so rude online. Don't be like that to Larian, ever. They're always on our side.

Same here actually. I also emailed support (I assume they're slammed). The redemption page on the Larian web page per instructions also says Im not qualified for the deluxe benefits. Odd. Im sure this will be sorted in the following week.

I have the same problem, but the support didn't respond about this. They game me the tracking number that is still waiting forte package since 30 of may.

I have also this problem. I received my physical discs and use the code. I am from EU. The code that has be send is a digital copy of the game. Not for the deluxe extras. On larian website i get a error for the digital soundtrack. I have send 3 message to larian support but i dont have any reply on this e-mails.

Can we get information on which Wave this information pertains to? Is this about Wave 1, and Wave 2 isn't close to shipping yet? Or is this information specifically about Wave 2? Because if it's the latter, I'm in Oceania and my PS5 copy doesn't seem to have been shipped yet. If you received an incorrect DLC, you should now have received an email with more information about the situation.
We will send all Xbox Series X|S Deluxe Edition owners a new Digital Deluxe DLC code with the correct content. If you haven't received the new code by now, you will receive it very soon!

Thanks for the update.

Received the new code in my inbox a couple of hours ago and can confirm it includes the Digital Deluxe DLC.

Hopefully I'll get an email update on the shipping of the physical items for the rest of the Deluxe Edition soon.

I'm still waiting for mine. Received an email from fedx with tracking number. However the tracking history says it shipped from Ireland to great Britain then to Memphis TN and now back in Ireland. I'm in MD on the east coast, sigh... I want to play. Instead I'm submitting inquiry tickets about package deliveries 🥳

I live in NY and I literally just received mine. Ahead of what the FedEx site originally said. My only problem now is I never got the DLC code with it.

Arguing in thread with moderation guidance isn’t okay. It’s not my role here to prove anyone’s theories wrong, but when those theories implausibly accuse people of criminal conduct it is my role to enforce forum rules against personal attacks, misinformation and trolling. Also in MD having the exact same problem. Larian support got back to me right away saying there's a known issue with the shipping labels but were unable to help otherwise and fedex was just plain rude to me for absolutely no reason. Label created the 5th with no updates frown I got my dlc codes emailed too.

So my son has received his copy (same last name) who placed the order over a MONTH after I placed mine. I understand delays in production and shipping, but really, this is quickly getting ridiculous. I got the email for the DLC, that requires the game to access. Tracking shows a created label, but has yet to be taken to FedEx. Pretty sure many of us are in the same situation. I have been overly patient. I am rather curious how Larian will compensate us for this rather absurd amount of time that it has taken to get any of our copies. At this point my expectations are rather low.

Bushwhacker wasn’t back for long, given the immediate repetition of the behaviour that led to their second warning, on top of seeming to want to pick a fight with a moderator. I hope it’s clear to everyone else that making defamatory statements with no evidence isn’t okay, and expecting people to spend time and effort disproving implausible allegations is unreasonable.

Anyone have any more updates about this? I’ve been waiting for fedex to update from “label created” since 7/9. It’s only been a week but I figured it would have updated by now with at least some sort of travel information and all that.

Nah I got a "Label created" notification from FedEx on the 8th from Kilkenny,IE and have contacted Larian support a few times with them essentially saying that it might've just been a missed scan from pickup and should update within 7-10 business days but way too many people have been experiencing the same thing for it to just be an isolated incident.I hope it updates in the next few says but I kinda doubt it now and Larian seems to have kinda fought against the idea of any kind of compensation and do not want to send digital codes for the game in the meantime even though it would be possible since other companies like Bandai have done so for less inconvenience complications.

Yes I am in the same boat. Just label created. I also got an email with my DLC code, but I do not have anything other than label created. FedEx swears they don't have it and Larian says it must not have been scanned in by FedEx according to the last response I got from support.

Yup Larian support is claiming that a bunch of our packages must've just not been scanned into the system yet FedEx claims they haven't gotten them yet.Both parties are now saying they don't have it so who knows if we ever get them at this point.

Oof, well I have hope it’s just taking a little longer than I’d like. I’ve seen some people post that they’ve gotten theirs already, and others haven’t given any updates yet. As soon as I have any updates on my end I’ll post it on here. At least then we will have some sort of an idea of what everyone can expect.

To be fair to Larian, FedEx is kind of ass. I have actually received every item I've ever ordered that went through them, but tracking updates are really spotty--they'll be extremely delayed at best and completely absent at worst most of the time. I've even received packages that were supposed to be tracked but were never marked as even having been received.

I got my label created email on 5 July. Same deal: FedEx says that they're waiting on the package. Now, I'm not intimately familiar with the FedEx scan procedure, but one would THINK that if they actually HAVE the package and it's in transit, when it hits the next facility, there's a good chance it'll get scanned and the tracking will show up. I understand missed scans, and see weird tracking updates all the time (USPS once mistakenly sent a package from Midland, TX to NEW YORK CITY before sending it back west to Fort Worth, TX) and is usually responsible for a package showing an origin scan, then nothing, and days later, you get an Out For Delivery notice without ever seeing it show up at your city's local hub.

So let's suppose that FedEx has the package, but missed the pickup scan. Presumably, it goes to a FedEx sort facility locally in IE. Then it goes to an international hub, and on a FedEx jet. Then to the United States, where FedEx sends it through customs, then to a distribution hub, where it would be sent via truck to a FedEx hub in DFW, then to the local Fort Worth hub, and finally, on a truck for delivery. At EACH of those steps, they're going to scan the barcode on the package. I can see 1 or 2 scans getting missed. But ALL of them? PLUS, the system NEEDS the scan to determine HOW to route the package. The days of someone looking at the address on the label to tell it where to go are long past. The barcode tells the automated routing system WHAT truck to put the package on so it goes to the correct next hub.

Conclusion: The package is lost. How long does Larian wait without any tracking updates before they come to the same conclusion and re-send it?

My shipping label was created on July 3rd with FedEx, and it's the same story. Label created with no other updates since then. I emailed Larian support last Friday and got an immediate response stating that they are "aware of a situation where tracking links seem to not be updating."

Honestly, at this point, I'm not buying it. They also told me that "some" affected orders are still being delivered, despite what the tracking information says (which is technically possible, but unlikely for this many orders). I was never told anything about packages potentially missing scans either, which I find rather strange.

I'm starting to think a batch of orders were either lost or stolen as well. If we can get proof or confirmation of a package being delivered with no tracking updates (or scans) whatsoever from another user, then that would at least help with my confidence in the situation.

I'm still waiting as well, says the label was created the 5th. I was told the same thing about fedex not scanning them and some ppl still getting them. So I guess we are not some ppl, what does this mean going forward bc I can't speak for others but I've been waiting nearly a yr since I ordered my game and now it's just lost? My co worker got his in 6 days once the label was created. There's no reason it should be 2 weeks with no updates frown someone has to take accountability for this, they can't just leave a ton of ppl with a $100 loss. I get it isn't Larians fault for production issues but it isn't our fault either. Definitely feels like everything is just being brushed off which is that much more frustrating! Plus fedex was extremely rude when I called to ask of theres anyway to track it without a tracking number. Like miss girl I just want my game don't be mean to me 😭

Contacted FedEx moments ago and spoke to a couple of representatives that have told me that they have yet to even receive the package from Larian.So I really believe that a large amount of our packages have either been stolen or incorrectly sent by Larian to FedEx(if they were made at all at this point)or possibly the waves of shipments have been staggered to take even longer for the wave we are assigned to and they would rather have us just wait instead of sending out another tweet/update or group of emails telling us the wait will now be even longer.I've never experienced so much frustration trying to order a game and I'm surprised that not a single journalist or news site has posted about this weird set of issues we've been dealing with.

I’m in the same boat as everyone else. Ordered Jan 1st-2nd wave. Received an email from FedEx on July 5th saying a label was created. Item would be shipping from Kilkenny, IE. Received an email July 15th from Larian for my digital extras. Contacted FedEx July 17th to confirm they have not received the package from Larian. Contacted Larian the same day only for them to blame FedEx: wait 7-10 business days for an updated tracking info and likely a missed scan at pickup.

I’m sorry. Am I supposed to believe (as shitty as FedEx is) that they still missed scanning ALL of our packages? I’ve browsed the Reddit sub and people are posting the same issue over there too. I don’t think they have been stolen because I don’t believe Larian has even shipped them yet. There was probably additional production issues and announcing another delay would get the attention of some of the gaming news outlets.

I think there's only a couple possibilities at this point. The batch of packages were either lost/stolen or they haven't shipped at all yet. I'm not sure which I think is more likely, but I think I'm leaning towards the latter. Support might just see that the labels were printed and assume the packages were (or would be sent) soon after. Maybe there was some kind of breakdown of communication between teams? Can only speculate.

Funnily enough, a reprint of a different game I ordered late last year had a whole pallet stolen shortly after the manufacturing process. The company was quick to inform customers and had to reorder another set of reprints. Weird stuff like that does happen.

It's the conflicting information and lack of communication that is really starting to frustrate me right now. Something strange is clearly going on with the usual process.

at this point I hope larian never makes a game I care about this much again. the pc collectors edition was a horrible shipping experience, the ps5 physical is a horrible shipping experience, and I am certain the vinyls will be a horrible shipping experience. and they charged premium shipping fee for each of those orders....

Finally contacted them again since I haven't heard a single thing and got the same copy and paste response. I'm genuinely so upset atp. Being told to wait 7-10 days again when it's been 14 days already, I waited the 10 days and more bc I feel bad even bothering them! Idk what to do, I just want my game! 😭

Did you check the FedEx tracking? Mine updated today to say the seller finally dropped the package off with them in Santry, Ireland. Although, it also said it was dropped off after shipping hours and so it won’t ship until the next business day. Combine that with the service outage that happened and we’re probably getting another delay. At least this time we have new info. I can’t believe Larian didn’t ship for almost two weeks and then gaslighted everyone that it was a FedEx issue.

Im starting to think none of our games were ready, and they just printed labels to placate us. This is getting out of hand. I'm in the same boat as most of you - label printed early July 9. Still says waiting for package - and support, while I don't blame them for lack of information, has been little help.

I'm about to dispute via paypal and hope that larian takes a hit for this bungle. Just be open, manage expectations, and a lot of this would have been resolved.

So how are people who got their tracking information same day and sent from the same location of Kilkenny IE are getting updates on tracking when I have not? You guys quit responding to my emails and now just blatantly ignoring others as well I'm very displeased from this company and don't understand how anybody can stand by it. I feel bushwacker may be correct about them scamming us cause that's how it feels to me on the blatant disregard of their customers I will soon be in contact of a close friend of IGN gaming outlet so people really know what is going on instead of getting relief off of false pretenses they call tracking numbers.

I get my tracking info from FedEx directly by refreshing the tracking page multiple times a day (and it finally updated today after 14 days yay!). While it looks like a batch of us that was in the “Label Created - July 5th” group have an update others are reporting they’re still in the “Label Created” group. I will say I’ve seen people say they ordered theirs in April/May and already received their copies and that is absolute garbage on Larian when there are still people who ordered Nov/Dec and haven’t got theirs yet.

I received my FedEx tracking on July 5th (placed my order December 25th 2023), with no shipping updates since (shipped from Kilkenny, IE coming to the US). I just emailed Larian to check in, and the auto response led me here. Bummed to see others having the same problem.

I joined the forum to research what the heck was going on. It’s unfortunate we’re all in the same boat. I told the support email that FedEx confirmed they don’t have it. They told me that it has been shipped and to wait 7-10 business days.

If it was shipped on the 9th??? But they won’t directly say it’s been shipped. They say “it’s with the courier”. It’s starting to upset me honestly.

I, too, am still waiting on my copy to arrive. Tomorrow it will officially be 8 months since I placed my pre-order. I have been patient and understanding, but I have my limits, and Larian is really straining them of late. Somebody on Reddit suggested that maybe they are actually still printing the discs which is why they print the shipping label weeks before they actually send the product to FedEx. Given how frustrated everybody is about the numerous delays already, I could see them doing this and covering it up to save face. I have zero evidence of this though, it's just my own personal suspicion that a few other people apparently share.

I've reached out to the CEO, but I've also reached out to various gaming news outlets to see if they'll investigate. Other than those of us who are still getting the run around, nobody seems to be talking about this. Larian keeps giving us lies and vague excuses for why this is taking so long, maybe some good old fashioned investigatory journalism will get us some answers, or at least make it more widely know to the gaming community. Larian definitely deserves to feel some PR heat for their shadiness in this matter, and potential customers deserve to know what they're getting themselves into when dealing with these guys.

I emailed larian this morning informing them that I was told by FedEx that they have no packages or pallets from larian studios and that it has been 15 days sense it says a label was created. This is the condescending reply that I received.

I got the same email,word for word,as this one here when I voiced my concern and ask how we'll be guaranteed our orders at a timely fashion which we are well passed or possibly compensated for all the misdirection we've been given and when they responded,they did so through an email from 3 days prior to the one I sent most recently.They have been untruthful with what has been going on seemingly and we all just want closure to something that at this point is what seems to be a non-refundable fiasco and just want to enjoy the game we all paid for.

When and if they reply I let whoever know there are numerous people across forums and reddit that are experiencing the same exact messages from fedex. After 15 days of a label created with no update is highly unlikely to have missed any or all scans. The gentleman I spoke with from fedex assured me that they are aware of multiple complaints not just from the US but other countries and territories as well involving Larian.

On July 9th I received the email saying a label has been created, and like everyone else no further action. The response from support included this :

“Some people have been reporting that their tracking is still at "shipping label created", our team will be reaching out to FedEx for more information, but it is most likely just a missed scanned at pickup.”

What bothers me the most about all of this is the arrogance they have to respond like this. I’ve worked shipping and receiving for 3 decades and deal with FedEx daily. This is not how the process works and there are steps along the way to insure this couldn’t happen.

So to talk to us all like we’re stupid is really insulting and shows a lot of what their culture is at Larian when it comes to customers.

I suspect they have more delays in production and some management in charge thought it was a good idea to print shipping labels for product they don’t have just to shut people up.

I feel like this created a bigger problem because if I were to believe what they told me, I have $120 worth of product lost in space.

Never hurts to look into how long your bank will allow for disputes. PayPal I believe won't let you after 180 days which most of us are well past but some banks allow for upto a year before you can no longer dispute a charge for cases like this. We way things are going I doubt they will be able to work with PayPal or fedex in the future because both seem rather fed up with getting calls from customers and larian blaming them.

It's been 18 days since the label was created for me now. I'll probably give it a few more days into the new week before I attempt to contact support again. It seems like a couple users here actually did get an update on their tracking beyond label created recently, so hopefully it's only a matter of time for the rest of us.

It'll be a full three weeks for me soon. There's no way support could tell me with a straight face that my package just missed every single scan and will still arrive soon without updates... That's exactly what I'm expecting them to say at this point though -_-

16 days here as well and yea this many people not having packages scanned from one shipper seems a bit unlikely. Especially sense fedex has already been looking into this many complaints. I would rather larian say hey we messed up and are getting things together as quick as we can than give us false hope and blame other companies for it.

I still just have it saying label created over 10 business days ago, and the merch team has not responded to me in 4 business days. FedEx however took down my information on Wednesday last week and called me back to confirm that they do not have said package with said tracking number. I can't get anyone to respond. I even tried reaching out to discord, but no one on the official discord apparently works for larian.

Yeah, I'm going to give it one or two more days (It'll be 21 days on Wednesday) before I contact support again. Feels extremely frustrating seeing people who ordered in March. April and May getting their copies before me, when I ordered back in November. I thought Wave 1 orders were supposed to ship first? That's what it says on the pre-order website page and that's what makes sense in terms of production.

Happy for those of you who are finally getting updates, but I'm getting extremely frustrated by this situation. I'm going to inquire about the Wave 1/Wave 2 shipping dates and see if support can offer me any information on the matter.

In a way it’s like this adds a free, 4,800 hour DLC quest. Man I am specially keeping you in mind, hoping the oldest orders receive first. That seems like a given but I don’t know any of the circumstances. Officially we’ve all been told FEDEX has everything and it’s on the way when that really does not seem to be the case. My empathy goes out to people waiting. And some for the staff just trying to do their jobs. It’s tough all around.

The only thing I can figure at this point is they waited to have everything made after all the production issues they had, then they printed out all the labels, and they're sending them out in batches regardless of when said order was made, which is why some people have updates despite having ordered months after other people whose orders haven't yet been sent out.

That's the only thing I can think of that would explain this level of incompetence (EXPLAIN, not EXCUSE), and I'm not sure who at Larian is to blame.

I’m not sure they’re able to do much. I feel like their hands are tied in some way they don’t feel is relevant to explain. Everyone who works is familiar with moments when the tasks are stacked, the machinery is malfunctioning and several issues arise with productivity.

In this scenario, you don’t want to update to anything too specific because it may not happen. But every moment customers wait they feel like they’ve been lied to the last time they got an update because nothing significant came of it.

So then you’re working double time for half credit and the issues are still coming up that delay it even further.

So what do you do? Do you update every little development and open up a forum of micromanaging criticisms about what you need to do? Or do you keep it to copied answers about the general direction and only update major developments knowing that fans will complain about being left in the dark?

Because every day you know you’re behind and want to finish all of this pain in the ass work, but you also don’t have the resources to address the thousands of daily emails from understandably disgruntled people who have no item and very little info, which you may have lied about to cover all of this while attempt to finish.

It sounds insane all around and I hope everyone gets what they need.

I have empathy for the various employees just trying to do their job, but I can also be extremely frustrated by the lack of communication and excuses that are blatantly false. Any other business, big or small, would have at least provided me with an update regarding a delay/back up or even a replacement by now if I contacted their support. In almost all other scenarios, 3 weeks without any updates beyond label created would mean the package was lost or not sent.

I have patience and I've never been rude to their staff (nor have they been rude to me). I just want some kind of actual answers. I'd be happy if support could just tell me something believable at this point. Have too few employees to ship packages and are extremely backed up? Fine! Just let me know please, so I'm not in the dark for a month. I don't believe FedEx is to blame if they haven't even received the packages yet for many of us.

This is another one of their automated responses regarding this situation:

“Thank you for contacting us and bringing this matter to our attention.

We recognize that it is frustrating not knowing where your order is when your tracking isn't updating. Rest assured that your order has been sent out and is on its way to you.
Your order was sent to FedEx when the label was created. We believe there was a missed scan or a technical issue that didn't put the shipment in their system. This is why we believe there is no updates on the tracking. We have also escalated to FedEx to better understand why your tracking hasn't updated and to gather more information.

We want to assure you that we are working to get you your order as quickly as possible. Once we know more from FedEx, we will follow back with you.”

The audacity they have to blame this on FedEx is honestly shocking to me. This is they type of bullshit I would expect to deal with from a private seller, I’m stunned they are putting the blame on FedEx.

Of course people should still file a claim with FedEx, but it’s concerning that Larian has stooped to such scummy standards. This is starting to smell more like theft than any sort of supply or shipping issue. They could be having major financial problems and we’re paying the price.

I just got a new response from support. They told me they'll notify the shipping team so that they can start investigating what the hold up is with my package. Though they still did say it was likely just a missed scan at pickup, so I'm not sure if I should be hopeful or not at this point.

I'll see if anything comes from it over the next couple of days. 3 full weeks with no updates warranted them flagging my situation at least.

Hey all, just saw another update on mine. It appears to have passed international inspection (approx 27 hrs) and has arrived at the airport in Ireland. Reminder that my label was printed the 5th of July and there were no updates until yesterday (July 22). Still do not see a ship date though so that interesting but atleast things are happening! Looks like around 14 days for it to be delviered to fedex. I'll get excited when I get it in my hands, but this at least stops me from emailing support, and anyone I could find on LinkedIn that works there. So yay?

I’m suspicious that Larian is cash poor and might not be able to afford their orders. The way that they charged a high flat shipping rate and starting to ship locally before overseas also points to penny pinching. Instead of priced according to the buyer zip code.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve failed to pay the manufacturing costs and are desperately playing catch up using new orders to finance the late ones. Otherwise known as a pyramid scam.

Unfortunately I don’t have 1 million twitter followers to get the attention to resolve this. Sadly Larian is winning this, I’ll never respect them again.

I'm one of the people who got a label created on July 8th and I still have my package supposedly stuck in Kilkenny,IE.We clearly have been lied to and a large amount of us will not being seeing the fulfillment of our orders,if at all,by the end of July.Larian support will continue to give us auto generated responses blaming FedEx for whatever Larian is doing or not doing correctly behind the scenes.No compensation will be given and communications will continue to be far below expectations for a company with such high praise and renown at this point.This has been and continues to be a massive disappointment for a company I really thought was going to be better than what we have been dealing with currently.

I saw few of you speaking about class action or contest payment.

Still no updates for me after 21 days. Label created on July 3rd. I'm currently going back and forth with a support staff member trying to see if I can get any updates or information on the whereabouts of my package.

Trying to inquire about a possible replacement if it's impossible to locate, but not sure if they're willing to go that far yet. No idea what's going on behind the scenes.

I received my deluxe dlc code on July 4th, which is kind of hilarious in hindsight considering how messy this whole situation has been.

I received the same reply about how FedEx missed a scan. I worked at FedEx in the maintenance department. When a package arrives a package handler scans it and puts it on the conveyor belt. From there it is scanned by a camera to know which chute it diverts it to for the next destination. If the camera can't read the barcode it's diverted to quality control who reprints a label and sends it back to the main conveyor again.

July 9th I received the message that Label was created as of today it's still waiting for package.

Mine finally arrived at my home city. Hopefully it’ll be delivered today or tomorrow. I was in the July 5th label created group and if it does arrive today it’ll have been 20 days from label created to arrival. Ever since FedEx received my package on July 19th I have received updates almost daily.

Mine is finally in the same timezone as I am. If we chart its speed:
It took 14 days to go the 135km from Kilkenny to Santry. From there it moved rapidly from Santry to the FedEx hub at CDG Airport in Paris. Then to Frankfurt (for SOME reason...not sure why it went east when CDG Airport is THE FedEx European hub), and yesterday it flew from Frankfurt to Memphis, TN. Early this morning it went from Memphis to Dallas.

I don't remember if the trucks run from Dallas to Ft. Worth leave early in the morning....nevermind. I JUST got the push notice that it's on a truck for delivery.


Jesus, what a ride. 7 months from pre-order to arrival.

I preordered on November 19 and received my email that the label was created on July 3. The Kilkenny, IE status hasn’t changed since then and I have emailed support 3 times and received the same types of responses as I’ve been reading on this thread. I’ve also reached out to FedEx, but they just tell me to contact the seller. I’m trying to remain hopeful, but the more time that passes, the harder it is. I’m glad to see that others’ statuses are updating showing some progress. Fingers crossed that the remaining orders will begin making their way shortly.

So I got this canned response from them again, basically placing the blame back on fedex. My shipment seems to be moving fast, already in the US as of this morning. Hopefully just a hop skip and a jump to Canada.

Hey all! I’m part of the July 9th “label created” and I just got a FedEx update today that my package is finally on Tennessee! It didn’t pass thru France or Germany as it has happened to others. It went from Kilkenny to Santry IE, and then it was updated today showing it’s on Tennessee USA. All this happened in about 2-3 days

I also got a call from FedEx like 5 min ago that my package is on FedEx possession and I’ll received the shipping estimate delivery date soon as possible.

I’m kinda disappointed with Larian because they took a lot just to get the package to FedEx since the Label was created (around 20 days) but Once FedEx received the package everything was more fast and updated frequently.

So to all those that are still on “waiting on package” just be patient because once FedEx received the package everything is faster and they’re very communicative.

I know all the wait is worth it.

I dunno what went on with Larian's side of things, and I wish they'd been more transparent about this like they had with the production issues in the first place, but I always knew that the update would happen *eventually*. Mine did arrive today. What sucks is I actually really like the stuff included and thought it was a fair price too but this whole shipping thing has really put me off buying directly from Larian again.

So for the final update

Jan 1st - place order, July 5th - label created in Kilkenny IE, July 15th - receive email for DLC items, July 17th - contact support, July 19th - FedEx receives package in Santry IE, July 23rd - package arrives at Roissy Charles de Gaulle Cedex FR, July 24th - package goes to Frankfurt DE to Memphis TN, July 25th - Order arrives in home city and delivered.

Well mine is 1 state away! Idk if I'll get it tomorrow or it won't be until Monday. I'm really glad ppl are finally seeing updates, this whole thing has been kinda crazy. Hey, let me know if you happen to get any updates in the next couple of days. We're exactly in the same boat. I ordered on November 18th and my label was created on July 3rd and I'm still stuck on "label created" as of now.

I emailed support a couple times and we were going back and forth, but I'm not getting any new responses now. Crazy that If we don't get any updates by next week, it'll have been a FULL month since our orders were marked as "shipped" by Larian, with nothing to show for it.

I'm hopeful that we'll get updates soon, as several users here are reporting that they are finally receiving their packages, but I'm honestly wondering if ours just got lost or something. This whole situation is so messy. Doesn't make any sense that our labels were created before many others and there are still no updates over 3 weeks later.

This was Larian's response to a question asking if they used a bike courier to take each game to FedEx, because there is no way a 139.5KM (1.5 hour drive time) distance from Larian to FedEx Express in Santry could take 21 days:

I just got the same email from support. That actually explains a lot. Seems like that pallet of orders could have been forgotten about after they started having issues with the plane, or maybe they were waiting to repair it and didn't want to move the pallets onto another plane? Who knows.

Anyway, after 23 days my tracking finally updated stating that FedEx has my package. For some reason it's showing that I have two identical tracking numbers, one that has the new progress and the other that is still stuck in label created. Not sure what that's about, but I'd imagine I should be getting it by late next week.

Hope everyone else who didn't already have an update starts getting theirs as well!

I also received the same response from support. I’m happy to hear that they finally figured out why there was a delay, which makes a lot of sense. I also had the same situation where I had 2 identical tracking numbers. But now my status has updated to say that FedEx has my package.

I hope everyone starts seeing their status change and will begin receiving their packages soon.

They are 100% lying about this, and the new tracking number supports that. And if they are telling the true why are they not passing on the refund in shipping?

Also seen reports of missing items in the box and DLC codes not working, total shit storm and I’ll never buy from Larian again.

Also make note that EVERY SINGLE THING Larian has blamed on others, from suppliers to shipping. We’ve seen how they’re treated their customers, taking us for granted and lying ever step of the way. And the haven’t taken responsibility at all or especially done anything to soothe this problem.

Larian is a culture of arrogance and their actions throughout all off this have shown it.

I also got an update to my tracking finally saying it's in Santry,IE and was tendered by FedEx somehow in the future of 7/29/24 and that it was only shipped to them today.I checked multiple times to make sure I was reading it right and that's what it says.I am just completely shocked that they are telling people now it was a whole missed pallet when before it apparently must've just been several hundred missed scans by FedEx and now I have an email telling me time traveling delivery workers tendered my package 3 days from now.I'm glad something is happening but I still feel no closer to getting it until I see that box on my doorstep.

I'm not sure what to believe at this point honestly, but at least we're finally getting updates. Interestingly enough, I noticed that the "new" duplicate tracking number now states that it is coming through FedEx Express, whereas the original "old" tracking says FedEx International Economy. Guess we got a free upgrade to express for the trouble? Haha

Something clearly went wrong though, that's for sure.

I think it’s just random based on the error guys. All I can say is be nice and considerate and try to stay patient. I feel bad that it was a legit mistake w fedex and I did tell them I felt they were lying. And maybe they still did, I don’t know. But I do believe what they’ve explained. I ordered mine on May 30th and it arrived this morning. USA. Took until July 23rd to ship.

7/23 - shipped from IE
7/26 delivered to USA

As far as the form letters, it could be that due to a litany of legal threats they may not get very specific at this point. Most companies in the states won’t even talk to you anymore if you’ve threatened to sue. Good luck, i hope it’s all straightened out.

Got mine yesterday. Once FedEx finally received the package, it took only 3 days for it to arrive. Everything looks good, though there was a tiny white bug crawling around inside the game box. Little dude must have hitched a ride from somewhere haha.

Definitely was a frustrating process, but I'm glad it seems like most packages are being delivered now. Hope everyone else gets theirs within a reasonable time frame!

I received a shipping notification and fedex tracking number which has not updated in over a month...(I assume it's lost) I have emailed larian several times never getting back to me. I have called fedex several times with no answers... this is ridiculous....

Pre-ordered this for my stepson for his Christmas gift. Ordered on December 10, 2023. Received the DLC email on July 4, 2024. I've never received an email indicating it was shipped, although when I go to my original order confirmation and click view order, it says the that it was shipped. I wonder if it will ever be received? Have to admit, when reading through this thread, I have nearly given up hope.

I am still waiting for my shipping info to be updated. Aside from the Digital Deluxe Edition DLC code I have no received any updates regarding my order. I am beginning to think it is lost in the mail somewhere, or was thrown out.

Hi. I ordered Baldur’s Gate 3 - Deluxe Edition 3 weeks ago, and it still hasn’t been properly shipped (shipping to Poland).

Initially, I received a tracking number the day after placing the order, but the parcel was sent to the wrong address and got stuck at GLS’s sorting center for two weeks before being TERMINATED completely.

I contacted merch-support@larian.com. They asked for my address again and told me that I “will receive an email with a new tracking number but we will contact you again when the package has been shipped”.

I haven’t heard from them since. More than a week has passed, and they aren’t responding anymore.
It’s for a friend’s birthday, and it’s running late.

Terrible experience so far.
Please help.

Ja mam podobny przypadku zamowilem BG3 na koncie info ze gra wyslana a na liscie przewoznika GSL info ze czekaja na dostarczeniu przesylki.Czekam na odpowiedz pomocy technicznej

Czekam na odpowiedz bo bardzo chialbym w koncu zagroc w gre ma bardzo dobre opinie a jestem fanem rpg-gier.


I have a similar case, I ordered BG3 on the account info that the game has been sent and on the carrier list GSL info that they are waiting for the delivery of the package. I am waiting for a response from technical support

I am waiting for a response because I would really like to finally play the game, it has very good reviews and I am a fan of RPG games.

Do we know if more physical copies will be available for PS5 (US/Canada) anytime soon? Have been monitoring the website for a while, but it’s always out of stock.

It was a one off run but never say never, perhaps Larian will find a box unopened in a ship somewhere

So digital is the way to go nowadays?
