In my humble opinion and taste almost all male faces are, well the opposite of handsome and most not even neutral, especially human and elves races. With this selection of faces, unfortunately, the game lags behind other games. I don't think it is balanced and there is no option to adjust the faces. There is only one handsome male face (thanks god Larian, at least one handsome man, I am grateful for this!) , and that's in my opinion not enough to choose from, I would have liked to at least have 1-2 handsome faces for elves, half-elves and humans (Tieflings, Drows would have been nice too), so that people, who like to make their charactar handsome, got the possibility to do so. There is nothing wrong about it. Some people like to choose handsome characters, some prefer neutral ones, some ugly ones. It should have been more balanced. And there is absolutely nothing wrong about peope who are into aesthetics and like to see beautiful and more idealistic facial proportions, whether it's in art, in reallife or in a fantasy world.

Even if it's not a question to me, but I will answer on this:
Not every handsome man in reallife is a model, but yes, a handsome man who corresponds to the ideal of a reallife model. If it could be a little less than that, it depends on the criteria. Like if there would have been one handsome face for each of the mentioned races and a second one, which is between handsome and neutral, with some edges, but still considered to have good proportions, would have been appreciated. A lot of people - regardless of gender or sexuality - are into beauty and more ideal facial proportions (e.g. greek ideal), and that for centuries.

I also comment this answer, which was meant for someone else. Among other things, yes, but also beautiful men's faces in their 30s for example. By the way, being beautiful or taking care of one's appearance is not the same as being homosexual. wink
