I stopped inspecting holes long ago, as it dooesn't give you much, but more or less by accident, Minthara examined one and her comment is quite funny, as usual.

Omg, lol! Heart attack. hahaha Thankfully your team noticed you were burning and decided to stay back! Though I can't imagine your Astarion staying away for very long. (*tsk tsk* "Really, darling..." *revives you* ... "The kiss of life." <3)

"When the letter 'G' falls off the grave yard sign"

You are much braver than I am.^^ I'm too scared that something is going to happen during my honour run that forces me to restart or keeps me from continuing (like a stupid technical issue in the game).
My second playthrough I was playing it safe because I was also recording the main story moments for my sister. I think the fact that you're always doing it in honor mode is impressive!!

I really hope that one of my companions has a huge tube of burn ointment in their pocket. smile But yes, I was overconfident in the situation, now I ask myself, for example, why my Lae'zel has no KI points or why my group is even connected in the fight and why I'm even fighting with the entire group. smile

*Still looking in horror* my beautiful temple. As Sarevok says "Throw her out of the temple with their girlish shrines"... "Sceleritas, pack her bags, I'm coming home."

*Looks again* No, it doesn't get better. smile

Maybe a mod could activate them so that they are in the game and repeated more often. There are mods to prioritize Astarion's reactions in some scenes, so what if it's possible to do the same with the lines? And it's just like a cure for a bad day, you can complain about something to Astarion on a picture and listen to his lines. smile

In honor mode, yeah, that's strong! And, already having reached this place. But this way you can get a dose of adrenaline! smile If at the first pass and on tactics you can get a lot of feelings because of the plot itself, but then, if you already know the game, to tickle your nerves in this way - it is yes, special feelings!

Maybe they all have a "younger Gortash" mod installed? (Not hating on Gortash! Just funny to me for some reason whenever people in the game talk about him like this.)

That's EXACTLY what I always think and then I think about his fashion sense... ugh... no. smile

Well, Gortash doesn't look particularly old to me, rather he looks like he's been worn down by life (given his past, he probably has). Somewhere in the neighborhood of 30-35 years old, in my opinion. The question is what age is considered acceptable to be archduke... And how old is the lady herself. There is an unusual combination in Gortash's appearance in the way he dresses richly, pretentiously, deliberately luxuriously, and at the same time his hair and face look more like a gangster's or a ragamuffin from the street (no offense to Gortash's fans, it's just my perception, perhaps it is, on the contrary, his "thing" and he looks like that on purpose).

You don't have to be particularly good for Honor Mode, it's just the appeal that I end the game by dying. I always plan what I'm doing and then nothing works out smile I forget my potions and everything else I wanted to do. But that's exactly what's fun.

Try the Steelwatcher Titan with a Gloomstalker and a Bard with 2 1-hand Crossbows and all enemies are immune to piercing damage or take less damage from it... of course I don't think about that... that was fun. ^^ And I had planned so beautifully, to throw an invisibility potion at Scratch, he then sneaks through and starts the fight, so that the Titan is already there and I can attack while in stealth... none of it worked... except for Scratch, that one did his job smile

Too bad for Orin... All it does is make our motivation surge through the roof, make us twice as efficient and determined to win. :p

That would be great! I don't have any experience tinkering with mods, but I hope maybe someone could figure it out. Yes, I was just thinking today how much Astarion's quotes and comments can cheer me up when I'm having a bad day. I'd love to carry his little bat form around.^^ He'd always have a supportive and/or snarky response if someone is messing with you or if you're feeling down. Voila, instant and super powerful pick-me-up.

This is true, it's possible he's younger than he looks and sounds like to me. He did have a hard time in his younger years. I believe the lady at the Elfsong who made that comment about him being too young was a gnome and looked pretty young, but if I recall, they live longer than humans? Then it could make sense from her perspective. When I look at Gortash's picture on the posters that are hung up around the town, he looks pretty good on those imo. If he's meant to look like that, I could understand why the narrator is always gushing about his looks, lol. I thought he looks really interesting in the digital art book as well (or the concept art).

-This reminds me of something else I found funny: If you melee attack Gortash outside of battle, before the final fight,

and then apologize with: "Sorry, my hand slipped," He will kick your leg and say, "What a coincidence! So did my foot."
I think this may only happen if you team up with him and take him with you before the Netherbrain fight. I would never have found this little detail on my own! It's so funny the little things that the devs thought about.

Hi folks, let’s try to be inclusive and avoid diverting into long side discussions between two or three people that don’t engage with other posters.

Feel free to use the forum DM functionality if you want to talk to specific people, but let’s keep the chat here open and free flowing.

Thanks!

"What a coincidence! So did my foot." Ha ha! I never choose to ally with Gortash, and probably never will, so thanks for the video! Larian's dialog writing in incredible.

Lol! It is a priceless moment (and so easy to miss!). I liked how he was smiling as he did it, too.

A little, possibly funny story for the weekend ...

There was someone, we won't say who, who was caught with his fingers in Volo's pockets one too many times. Then Volo and half the camp became aggro, even Scratch! Ok, I have to save Scratch, sorry, you're all going to die for Scratch! After everyone is dead and we want to treat our injuries and revive all the favors, what's the stupid dog's first action in the meantime? Yes, he runs into Gale's necrosis*sigh*. I could have had it easier. hahaha

(In German his name is "Kratzer", Nekrose=necrosis)

Running down the passage towards the temple of Bhaal.

Jaheira : Too open. We might as well bare our buttocks to every archer within a mile.
Lae'zel : A fair assessment. But I see no alternative.

I have 1600+ hrs of gameplay and been dozens of times through the magic mirror sealing the necromancer laboratory in Act 1. But it is the first time I chose the final option "examine your appearance", when the mirror asks your name.

Shows a cutscene where the player takes a cat wash and the narrator says : "You do your best to wipe the dirt from your face and look presentable. Adventuring is murder on one's wardrobe, though."

Considering you just fought a bunch of skeletons and are interrogated by a menacing magic mirror, this laconic intermezzo really made me giggle.

Did we always get a "Hungover" status after long-resting on too much booze? I don't remember seeing it before, and it just made me chuckle.

Also on the topic of camp supplies, Shadowheart asking why Withers didn't provide better rations on the road when he could summon up a feast at the epilogue party made me giggle. So true biggrin

I think, if you rest on only booze, you get the hiungover status. I did it once, because I had a lot of booze and it was after a hard fight, so in my headcanon, the group celebrated a bit. I got an acheivment and the hungover status out of it smile

Teasing Lae'zel and Tav

After the duel with Lae'zel in Camp, Tav kisses her for the first time.

The day after, the other companions have some teases for her.
