Also joining this thread. I am glad that Larian had acknowledged this problem and are working on it.

When BG3 first came out, my husband and I bought it on PS5 with the precise purpose of playing it in split screen together. But, well... You know how that went. It was literally unplayable in couch co-op.
I have switched to PC, I'm forced to play alone, and I don't want to play with anyone else except my beloved who knows how I behave as a player and has a perfect synergy with me in co-op. We haven't tried playing the game together for months, ever since it's been crashing, lagging, sending us into fits of helpless rage... I cannot fully describe how frustrated we were, after years of waiting for this game to come out, knowing that Larian would definitely do it justice, only to be denied the feature that is supposedly already there.

I truly, sincerely hope this matter will be resolved some day and we'll be able to have the same glorious experience that we used to have with DOS 2.
