Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Can' take long rest after defeating Ketheric

I killed Ketheric and am ready to finish act 2, but the game won't allow a long rest, telling me "you can't fast travel". But this is wrong, I can fast travel to any waypoint without problem, including camp. And even in camp, if I click "long rest", it says I can't fast travel. So I guess something else is blocking. Do I need to talk to someone first ? I talked to Jaheira and Isobel after returning from the mindflayer colony, , but that didn't change anything. Does anyone have any ideas how to get out of this situation ?

For this run I installed some mods. Mostly face/hair/costume mods and also the party limit be gone.

I found the problem. One hireling had not followed the group out of the colony, and was still stuck in ths area. After leading her out, everyone fast travelled to camp and regrouped and now long rest works again.

And there was much rejocing!
