As far as previous games romance goes, well Abdel Adrian and Aerie are definitely not a match. It's hard to imagine Abdel being a match with any being with any degree of sentience to be honest, although canonically he's supposed to have romanced Jaheira. But I'm going to go ahead and assume that he never had a romance with anyone that we know.
