Happy to see new reactions to the Act 2 scene! It's really good. Sounds like you got extremely unlucky with the misalignment issue because I've never seen that happen before. From what I can deduce looking at the pictures I'm assuming your Tav is BT1 but it looks like she's a bit taller than expected which makes me think she somehow got on a part of the ground that put her in a position making her "taller" than supposed to for that scene that led to the misalignment.
I swear Gandrel revived somehow and started cutting onions...
('I care about you')
Was not AT ALL expecting such an emotionally heavy scene for merely suggesting we could use Oblodra's potion, caught me completely off guard how something so meaningless from my perspective weighed so heavily from his. Feeling like I just emotionally got ran over by a freight train... it's over, am just a side character in his story now, he can have the entire world and more
Although Larian has to fix this awful misalignment, slightly ruins such a beautifully captivating moment
(The misaligned handholding)
*Put out a large pack of tissues* ... yes, I can smell the onions too.
Even the Dark Urge softens and wants to hug him. Cazador's fate is sealed, even the Dark Urge personally drags Cazador into the sun. The fight against Cazador is something that I enjoy and look forward to from an RP perspective. I fight the battle with Astarion alone as a couple, I kill everyone else and leave Cazador to Astarion. That feels best to me, I let him take complete revenge.
Your Tav also seems a little bigger than normal to me. I'll see if I can find any old, unmodded save to test the scene.
Edit: I looked quickly, but I don't have a Tiefling. The hug looks similar to me, the face disappears into his chest. My hands look normal.
I had to play the night when I get the Slayer form... I love it when Sceleritas is worried that you're damaging your reputation if you kill too many people and he now will bringing you victims who you can kill ... you're too bloodthirsty even for him.

Awww... it's so nice to read someone's fresh impressions of this lovely scene. <3 And yes, he deserves to have everything he wants.
You were unlucky indeed, I just checked my game too and there was no misalignment. Might be worth it to test it to see if the problem applies to specific races and/or body types.
Thank you everyone for checking. Even checked several videos with Tieflings and all have pixel perfect hand alignment, but they are all from a year ago so either my fiendish patron is messing with me by giving me noodle hands or the Tiefling races specifically became misaligned over time since release.
Because the misalignment is unique to each camp for me;
The Wilderness Camp - her hand is way above his (shown here).
The Moonrise Towers Camp - her hand is clipping below his.
The Last Light Inn Shore Camp - her hand is clipping into his.
(Examples)
I know she's cursed and all being Dark Urge, but daddy B taking it too far - such diabolical cruelty. I'll send a bug report about this because Disguise doesn't work in this scene so I can't check any of the other races unfortunately.

Heheh yup I also love that he is self-aware about the fact he exclusively keeps sending Durge to only kill girls who are into other girls
It's because of Lakrissa.
Our dear butler is also our actual wingman and wants to ensure our date with Lakrissa happens. So who does he send us to kill first? Alfira of course, her would-be girlfriend. But what if Alfira doesn't die, who does he send us to kill then? Isobel naturally, so that Alfira can die by proxy while Lakrissa is safely kept at Moonrise. She escaped once so the 2nd time is a scorched-earth tactic to truly ensure she bites the dust for good, it's all a genius elaborate master plan by our dear butler just to ensure we get a date with her by any means necessary.
"White Curls... no one touches Bhaal's little princess."
Behind your back is our ever-adoring and loyal butler... what could he threaten Astarion with, so that he doesn't dare to touch your hands?
Is he threatening to shave Astarion's hairbrush?
Keep coming with the suggestions.
Your complete explanation of why we should kill Alfira and Isobel sheds a completely new light on Sceleritas. He just wants the Durge to be well and will do anything to achieve that. After the little accident with the dagger, he has to take a lot more care of us, even if he still thinks we're pretty smart. I should question the statement. The fact that I can't have Sceleritas because I have to reject Bhaal because otherwise I'll kill Astarion/Minthy is the worst thing for me... I love that little scumbag. I almost can't forgive Larian for THAT.
Is the real name of the Origin Dark Urge actually known? The question came to me somehow the day before yesterday. He didn't live in the Bhaal Temple until he was an adult and had foster parents etc. They certainly didn't name the little scaly head "Dark Urge"... I hope so.

A classic story of a protective Father looking out for his favorite little girl by disapprovingly rejecting her new boyfriend.
The last boyfriend she brought back home 'didn't have any guts', and the one before that 'lacked a spine'. There was one with a 'bleeding heart' that Daddy B liked, but to be with her it 'cost him an arm and a leg'. She truly enjoyed 'pulling his leg' as upon seeing her his 'jaw hit the floor', so she 'kept his chin up' and 'gave him a hand'. That was when he sort of 'lost his tongue', but that never stopped her from 'picking his brain'.
Her being with Astarion might be 'like pulling teeth', but she truly loves him so the only way Daddy B breaks them apart is 'over her dead body'. Her distractions certainly 'make His blood boil', so it won't be the first time she'll have to 'stick her neck out' for her husband-to-be
As for the name; absolutely, it is Daisy Dewdrop Fluffington.
(Deception Check)
*rolls Nat 1*
Dang it... alright it is the Sleepless Knife, the Death's Dream, the Prophet Of The End, the Armageddon-Watcher, the Eternal Terror, the Little Slayer.
Unfortunately for an unholy mass-genocidal divine psychopath Daddy B is not very creative when it comes to naming His children (sadly enough they don't even have a birthday either), but it is certainly 10 times more cooler than naming a child Dick. Imagine being called Dick Urge
@Sini, that is too funny! And Sceleritas hiding behind the pile of bones and shamelessly supporting Gortash... I died. xD How impudent. hehehe
I've been looking for cliffs in the game for a long time and haven't really found a good point yet, where Astarion can make Sceleritas "disappear". We know that both of them are vying for the Durge's attention, so Astarion wanted to quickly secure last & best place.
Just for you, even if it is only very short.

You look so amazing and happy. I'm really happy that you're having such a great gaming experience.
I still can't decide what I want to play... I would really like a "Poison Ivy" build for my Durgie, everything she touches will wither. A little poison and acid, a few plant vines here and there... a hint of necromancy. I really liked it... but what skills do I have... I think Warlock and Spore Druid are a good basis... I've to tested how to play and make a build for HM.

I can't get enough of these two fighting over Durge! xD Thank youuuu This was perfect! I love how blissfully unaware she is meanwhile🤭
It occurs to me now that I should have put Sceleritas in the box.
They argue all the time and she doesn't even react anymore. Sceleritas always manages to annoy his lordship so much that he becomes less dignified than he would like to be. I then imagine him standing completely dirty after a fight with Sceleritas and brushing his hair.
Sceleritas was recently very angry because a large jar full of beetles was broken during the fight with Astarion. It was of irreplaceable value and all the delicious bugs escaped. Sceleritas then suggested several times that a divorce from him could be the only correct answer to this sacrilegious act. He would have already sharpened the blade of the sword, I would just have to complete the divorce. Sceleritas is always so thorough with the preparations.

Oh absolutely - am so positively overdosed on 'Happy'!
Never fully romanced an Origin companion until now, so experiencing a developed relationship for the first time ever is 'a little novel' and now 'I can't help but wonder how others taste'... Oh well, guess we'll never know - such thoughts are unbecoming of a Dark Consort, her stilled heart eternally belongs only to her Dark Prince now. Aeterna amantes.
The undeserving puny wretches lacking conviction shall instead be forced to eternally serve us instead, especially Wyll who called her Dark Prince a degenerate for bestowing the gift of eternal life upon her. After all the palace always requires maintenance... and amusements
Seriously love how complex, engaging and thought-provoking the relationship is and the roleplay it enables; so wonderfully unique. I love that I can become a side-character as it took me a bit to ease into his newly-discovered overwhelming bravado and the new dynamic, it's perfect and exactly what I wanted. For Bhaal's messed-up wreck of a daughter only a being of exceptional power could eternally claim her as a Dark Consort to rip her from her Father's clutches and the infernal pact she's chained to, he can fix her.
Only thing am sad about this 'bloody pleasure' of a playthrough is the ending; really want to go for Sceleritas Fel since every palace needs a Butler and he'd do exceptionally well at the task, but unfortunately we all know how that ends. The other option would've been to let Astarion take over the Absolute so his Dark Consort simply rules by his side instead, but that's not possible either. Hm... I might repurpose the Emperor's ending and replace him with Astarion because trying to properly roleplay these Bhaals-to-the-walls evil endings is literally the Bane of my existence - maybe by some Myrkul we may still get a proper one for Dark Urge!
Also if it helps with any ideas; I had a self-looping poisoner Astarion in ACT II with x2 [Thorn Blade] applying the debuff from [Poisoner's Gloves] which then trigger [Derivation Cloak] to apply [Broodmother's Revenge] on his blades for even more poison damage, so it's a lot of poison damage with self-healing. Alternatively [Ichorous Gloves] for mass-AOE spreading of stench through Acid. Maybe it helps since Druid is the only class I never played so got no clue about anything spore related, but Warlock is super fun and Oathbreaker is exceptionally awesome if you're into an unholy Death Knight dominating the Undead (bring undead Kar'niss to Moonrise and watch him one-shot everyone)
I see it the same way in terms of viewing and playing style. No matter whether I'm the absolute super-evil or the little goofy who is his tool for his revenge and power, I always have the greatest joy. He is the king at my side. I tried other romances, then he stands at his tent and the romances with others are over. There's no point in trying, I'd rather just make up a new story and new outfits for them.
Thanks for your tips. I love Oathbreaker, that would also be a possibility for my Durgie... a deathknight. Astarion stays with me as a Gloomstalker, if necessary I can kill almost everything with him on my own, if my Goofy is too weak. Oh yes, reviving Karniss... I can already hear Astarion nagging in the background "Why do we have to take him with us, couldn't we have taken someone who is smaller. But we'll tie him to a tree in front of the camp, I don't want him in ours closeness is. Just imagine that... yuck. Yes, darling, and I haven't forgotten that you're a drow, but look at you and then at him... (Astarion has more objections but I don't hear him more about
Even though I don't have a tradition myself, I still say "Happy Halloween" to everyone.

I wanted to respond to this part... I get/I am forgetful.
I've said several times that I can't have Sceleritas, it's one of the most terrible things for me. I use the ring to transform a companion/rentling into Sceleritas. But I'd rather have him as a permanent companion like Scratch. It would be particularly great if he argued with Astarion in the background about who can now go alongside the Durge. Giving Astarion the throne and he becomes the Sunlord is one of our greatest wishes. (Stay calm darlings, breathe into the bag, don't faint.)
Unfortunately, we are unlikely to get such an ending. We could think about how we could mod it.We would have to give Astarion the 3 crystals and from this point everything would have to switch to the Sunlord scenario, only that Tav/Durge would then remain active and be incorporated.... There are a lot that could be changed. To make a mod to summon Sceleritas shouldn't be to difficult.

Durge decided to play a little prank on Astarion and dressed up as Gortash for the occasion. *Sceleritas approves* Astarion didn't find it very funny.
But I think he got his revenge:
(If I had to see him in an Orin wig, you do too xD)

I love it! She looks so cute in her pink and black outfit and clown makeup. I think Astarion would respond exactly like that xD

Poor Sceleritas. No one ever sees it from his perspective! I feel for him losing his treasured jar of bugs. And you're right, looks like that must be one of the places where Astarion buries him sometimes. :p
