I sent a save file as well, hopefully it will be solved. I'm through the second playthrough now with my partner and it's super tedious in the city. Sometimes it loads but sometimes it takes multiple attempts and we're still not sure what works and what doesn't. We try to go to camp, come out of camp, change starting location, start in vulkan mode, directx, etc. There doesn't seem to be a pattern.
