For the last 2 months I've been playing with my buddies just fine even with mods, but for the last few days I've been unable to join other players and they can't join me even though nothing has changed on the hardware or software side. The loading screen goes from 0-25% and then full loads and it's back to main menu for both me and my buddy.
Things I've tried:
Deleting and resetting the cache
Deleting and resetting the Baldur's Gate 3 folder in AppData
Removed all mods and tried to start a new game completely vanilla (made sure my buddy was completely vanilla as well)
Uninstalling and reinstalling the game (I made sure to delete any leftover files from both the Local AppData and SteamApps folder)
Tried running two instances and tried to join on LAN (made sure LAN connections was enabled for the first instance and the second instance can't find a LAN server)
unplugging unnecessary devices
shutting down unnecessary software
Allowing BG3 through windows firewall
Allowing BG3 through anti-virus
Forwarding the ports
Trying the test profile sent by the support team
The multiplayer for all my other games work just fine so I'm really at a loss for what to try next here.
