This has been a longstanding headache when playing the game with a controller.

If you enable the show details window even once in your inventory, that window will continually pop up over the submenu for items, whether you then disable the window or not. This makes sending items to other characters or to camp very frustrating, as you cannot see these options with the show details window covering it. It requires backing out of the submenu and then reopening it for every item you wish to move.
