Steal it! Some people are natural actors, for some it's weird to do it, especially for those players who like to play the craziest thing in the book. I've almost ruined my voice for some monster NPCs, now imagine growling or screeching through a talk-heavy session as a player trying to find clues in the village beneath the dungeon entrance. In my experience, people get more comfortable with playing the role over time and also more experienced with which roles work for them as players. My job as a DM is to allow the whole experience to become immersive.
